Bunnamagoo Estate Wines reviews
54An amazing winery. The wine was absolutely gorgeous we had the red tasting. Felt completely relaxed and looked after by Linda (hopefully I have her name right) she was very knowledgeably when serving us our wines. We spent the most at this winery, we visited 7, based on the wine being amazing but also being made feel so welcome. The grounds are stunning.
Bunnamagoo Wine Tasting is one of the most incredible wines experiences you can do in Mudgee. The wines themselves are exceptional offering both complimentary and paid tasting lists. However, while the wines are exceptional the people of the vineyard are the reason you come back. Gemma, the cellar door staff is one of the most personable and pleasant people to chat with, who is extremely knowledgeable about the wine and history of the estate. I must recommend anyone going to this tasting to seek out Gemma as she will only make the experience better. 10/10
Don't leave Mudgee without going to Bunnamagoo. We have been here a few times now. This time we bought their Rose and Reserve Chardonnay. We also never get sick of seeing the stunning back drop and they're also dog-friendly too!
We love you Bunnamgoo.
So accommodating for large groups. Just grab a picnic rug and set yourself up on the vast grass area with your favourite Bunnamgoo wine.
Happy days
Great hospitality, with a wide selection of reds and whites offered (plus extras) at no charge!
What a great place. Emma was a fantastic and know very knowledgeable about the wines. We took some fresh prawns for a picnic and tasted a variety of enjoyable wines. Put it on your To Do list
We dropped by Bunamagoo for our third wine tasting destination. The lady was very friendly and accomodating. I especially enjoy the selection of white wines and dessert wines here.

Had an incredible tasting with great wines and fantastic service. Linda the server was an absolute legend who talked us through each variety and even let us compare a great 2008 cab sav! Beautiful location and DOG FRIENDLY! Generous tasting with stunning views and a good experience, what more could you want?
This place is a MUST. Lovely wines and extremely friendly staff. Evan was helping us and even gave some extra wines to try according to our taste. Make sure you have space in our car to fit another 6 bottles of wines that you will easily buy from here. Thanks for the host guys!
A very lovely tasting experience at Bunnamagoo today after trying their wine at the Oriental Hotel last night at dinner. Great service and accommodated that I drink red and my wife drinks white. Apologies I don’t remember the young man’s name, but he gave us a great time and we walked away with a mixed case of wine.
Beautiful location, all the wine were delicious and Rebecca had the best customer service we've received from the vineyards we have visited in Orange and Mudgee. Our dog enjoyed the expansive grass area as he ran around freely. Highly recommended!
Beautiful, tranquil place with an excellent choice of wines for the tasting. Very friendly staff and the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent not to mention the Tempranillo which was well balanced.
I can see why bunnamagoo is so popular! We have had the winemakers 2019 black Shiraz and it's quite possibly the best Shiraz I have ever had, so we had to go to the cellar door. The staff are friendly and extremely honest, we felt very welcome. There are currently no reservations (walk one only). We went around 2pm on a Saturday and there was seating for us, not long after they were full. A popular place for tour groups and vans. I especially loved Bunnamagoo's Semillon, Pinot Gris and the Shiraz, the Semillon is also one of the best I've ever had. Prices are very fair as well!
Stopped here as the first wine tasting location on our trip to Mudgee. Hands down some of the friendliest and most down to earth staff I have ever experienced. The tasting experience overall was amazing. Great wines. Beautiful views. Highly recommended as they will not disappoint.
Lovely surroundings. Enjoyable wine tasting. The girl serving us was knowledgeable about the wines. All in all a great experience.
Our favorite of the several Mudgee area wines we went to. Very beautiful scenery and sitting area. Encouraged to bring your own picnic. All the wines were very nice, particularly the sparkling pinot noir Chardonnay.
A beautiful architectural cellar door and lovely grounds, but couldn't help feeling it was a bit soulless. The staff were pleasant, but it felt like they were delivering lines. Lacked the warmth of others such as Lowe.
Great winery. Wonderful cellar door and fantastic wines. My favourite is the blend but the Cab Sav is also wonderful.
I'm a big fan of Mt Lawson wines. So far the best, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc wine I've had. Quite wide spectrum in terms of the food pairing.
I visited this very peaceful and beautiful estate with family a couple of weeks ago. Just really love the 2018 Chardonnay. As I live on the Central Coast, I hope to visit there again when I stop off at my in law's who are fortunate to live in such an incredible area.
