Bunker Cartoon Gallery reviews
32 Great place to visit and spend done time checking out both the history of the bunker and the awesome cartoons on display.
Some great work to check out and also purchase, also some very interesting history about the bunker and surrounding areas during WWII.
Cheap admission price for the whole family, definitely recommend to visit when in Coffs Harbour.
Was a li'l disappointed, good 2 have special exhibitions but keep a separate corner 4 your best. Expected 2 B giggling half the time I was there but couldn't raise 1! Special Exhibition was surfing cartoons which is irrelevant 2 huge % of population & hard 2 make goid funnies about.
Have lived in Coffs Harbour for many years had my first visit to the Bunker Gallery. My grandaughter and I loved it
Paid entrance fee only to find the cartoons have been replaced by an art exhibition. No offer of refund. Not impressed.
Good spot for a quiet hang out. It's line an art gallery but dedicated to cartoon comics. Lots of phantoms to read. God to get out of the heat and chill for a while.
Good on the History side was interesting. We were hoping to get cartoon pictures done but wasnt the right dajy maybe.
Wouldn't recommend, wouldnt go again. Idk if it was the day we went or what but such a waste of time. Would recommend if youre looking for air con but that's it
'One of a kind' place which demands a must visit label for tourists. A historical place of importance turned into a cartoon gallery displaying a range of art work. A really lively and helpful staff who perform a great task of maintaining the place. Great effort and please support such initiatives.
A must see location. Largest range of cartoons in Australia.
They have workshops, business functions and are open 7 days.
Took 2 kids expecting there to be pictures of comic and/or cartoon characters but instead there were some of the Archibald entrants. There are a heap of comic books.
I enjoyed reading the cartoons (which change regularly), great historic setting, easy parking, affordable way to spend an afternoon.
This place is a must for those of us who have dabbled with cartoon drawings as a child. On our visit the gallery was showing the Ginger Megs collection. While not a fan of this traditional Australian cartoon series, (I'm more Marvel or DC) I still found it interesting. Great when the whole family (2 adults 2 kids) could entre for only $10!
