Cold beer, great passing parade, beautiful location and really enjoyed my meal. Pub food but generous portions and a touch of class in putting it together. Recommended if you want a classic Sydney afternoon.

Attended a celebration for a colleague in the upstairs area and enjoyed the backdrop of the view of Darling Harbour. I had previously been to the downstairs bar at Bungalow 8, but was unaware of the upstairs area. Food was excellent, I highly recommend the Chicken Bao and Arancini.

Passing on my appreciation to the Manager on-duty last night, as I recently suffered a broken foot and currently have difficulty with using stairs. The Manager showed me to the lift when I arrived and departed, which I appreciate the time taken on a busy night for the venue.

I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to host an event or celebration near the CBD, as the views, food and atmosphere were all a great combination.

Had my 21st birthday there last night. I must say the waiter ‘BIBI’ was our host and he just made the night perfect! Great service from the very start!

I'd like to know how Bungalow 8, Cargo Bar and Henleys are all owned by the same company, and yet Bungalow 8 has the highest prices out of all of them, even at essentially the same location as the others, bungalow 8 has the highest prices. Surely if its the same company, then bungalow should have the same prices as cargo or henleys. Also the same music gets played every saturday night, can you switch it up and play edm or something that gets the crowd actually pumped, doesn't have to be edm, just something that the crowd can dance to and not the same music that is overplayed every week just with a different DJ, it might actually help you attract more people. Its a supposed nightclub in the evenings, it should act like it. Bartenders and staff were very good though and were very nice, so at least they know how to train their staff, shame every other aspect of the venue is complete garbage

Visited for lunch on the day following the lifting of Wuham Flu lockdown. Everything was good and professional - however, what was most notable was the various staff that checked by to see if everything was going OK - waitress, section manager, shift manager.

Really appreciate the great social initiative during lockdown of providing meals to hospitality staff who are struggling at the moment.

Special thanks to the team there on the day, really appreciated the help from Courtney, Shaun, Kristyna and I'm sure there are countless nameless faces who helped in the background. You guys are legends!

Staff, including the manager working that day, refused to manually collect my details (I had my SIM card not working that day) for COVID-19 reporting purposes even despite the official Service NSW rule allowing venues to do that. At the same time they pay no attention of who's coming from the other entrance where (just to comply with the legislation) they blocked with a flowers stand. Very negative expirience, never coming here again and will tell my friends not to come too.

Came here for a weekend lunch and ordered the schnitzel and the braised xo beef (the latter was a special at the time). Given more of a pub / bar, we weren't expecting too much of the food there but both were delicious! Generous serving sizes and cooked very well. I know not the main part of the dish but the chips were cooked and seasoned very well! The schnitzel is definitely a large dish so come hungry if you are planning to order this! Service was great - could not fault our food or our visit! Will be back!

Portions are good and they have a good selection of lunch specials! A generous amount of crab in my crab pasta! Recommended!

Great food, timely service, thoughtful chef who provided a gluten free alternative. Only thing was the electronic ordering. The system was a little clunky to use. Next time, we'll order at the bar. Great for families.

I didn't like them before maybe a year ago. But noticed the food quality has improved recently. Although when they got busy they started to slow-20mins wait for me and a colleague for example out of group of 12. Hence a bit mixed with the service.

Silly system no actual menu's, have to read an application from the table icon on to your phone. They then sent out entree and mains at the same time. By the time you've finished first course, mains is cold. Won't bother repeating the experience.

Ate: Sweet potato chips, club sandwich, pistachio and labneh dip.

Giant venue, very good for hosting a large group, though we had to split into tables of 10. Really giant portions - could easily share between two average diners especially during the $20 lunch deal, or save the leftovers for another meal. Flavours of the club sandwich were mostly mayo and lacked a little bit of punch but ingredients were fresh and bread toasty. Chips were fried well - crisp on outside and fluffy inside - and nicely seasoned. Sweet potato chips portion wise could be a meal in itself and were well fried, definitely recommended too. I enjoyed the labneh dip a little less, though the pita was warm and delicious, and felt it was overpriced for the amount of pita we got.

Great venue and staff. We had Mitch Brown serving us downstairs and he was super friendly. We asked for a special cocktail and he made a delicious passion fruit vodka drink. Will be coming back with friends!

Very nice view of Barangaroo warf. Food options are very limited but taste is good. It's a nice place for the people who love drinks. Ambience is really good.
