Buffalo Creek Reserve Playground reviews
42Great park & playground shame the bbq not working we ended up taking the meat & sausages home
Love the little roads and signs for young bike and scooter riders. Good covered play area.
Nice normal park with most of the facilities you need. The walking tracks around it are nicer.
The flying fox seat is a bit worn and lucky there is sand there considering kids fly off it at the end if they are going too fast and not holding on tight enough. I’m not sure were the public toilets are so we had to drive home and come back out as the kids urgently needed to pee. There are public bbqs there too and plenty of birds like bush turkeys and ibises aka bin chickens. The “merry go round” was fun.
Very nice open areas, and a large section of play equipment that will keep kids busy. Decent amounts of shelter, and bathrooms are ok. Nearby bushwalking trail through the mangroves and the stream crossing is nice.
Very beautiful park with kids playground andsome amazing natural surroundings including mangroves
This park is a nice park it has toilet blocks pathways for walks, uncover BBQ, playground with rubber ground cover, it has free parking now the meters were taken out and so they should.
Big park with nice walk around via mangrove and other park/bushland. Multiple gazebos, BBQ area and restrooms. The playground is covered by big sunshade. There is also a bicycle/scooter parcour and flying fox.
The carpark right next the the playground is only free for 30 minutes, but on the other side of the road is a free carpark related to Field of Mars.
Buffalo Creek Reserve has the Great North Walk as part of its walking area. The Great North Walk goes all the way to Newcastle some 273 kilometres.
The reserve also has plenty of picnic tables, bbq area, basketball hoop, plenty of grass area for the kids to play on, a play area and toilets.
A fun park to visit with the kids. They have a little cubby house, a flying fox, climbing and swinging stuff and other cool things for the little ones in the family to play with. Definitely worth visiting this park if you're in the greater area. Bring a picnic or takeaway coffee when you visit so you can relax while the kids burn off steam.
Beautiful tracks around, we walked from Boronia park to Sugarloaf Point. Easy to park, there are bathrooms and places to cycle.
It's nice, neat and has a playground for small children. A bike track to ride or skate around (or in my case learn to skate on). A track runs Off to the side which takes you to different destinations which im keen to try. The track on the other side of the road has 4 tracks which kind of blends all together at different points (so you can say you did all 4 at once!). Parking is limited, that's the flaw.
The park is beautiful and has a very nice bush walk with water features.the playground is lacking of themes and the kids will get board quickly. Although it's a very nice place for picnics.
An excellent toodler play area to start or end it. A cute little scooter and cycle training track with miniature road sign boards for the kids and a cubby house! Would love to come here again!
An added is that there are a few good short walks and trails around with beautiful lookouts like the sugarloaf lookout.
A refreshing find within our LGA. Great way to spend a few hours outdoors with lots of space to keep safe distance:)
A great place to wander with the kids. There is a cute little cubbyhouse, children's playground with zip line and swings and a track for going around on a scooter or bicycle equipped with a stop and give way sign. There is a nice cricket pitch behind the playground and a walkway to do the great North walk all the way to Newcastle.
This is a large reserve with a reasonable amount of parking (mostly metered but with some disabled parking). It is close to a regular bus route on Pitwater Rd. The park is adjacent to a very scenic wilderness area with a boardwalk leading to the Lane Cove River. It has many covered seating areas, and is very child-friendly, including a firefox amongst other things.
Use to go to Buffalo Creek Reserve 30 years ago. For picnics. Great place for the kids! All changed.
Nice open space. Plenty of parking. Cute little playground for the kids and accessinle toilets open between 7amto 7pm
It has everything. A course for scooters and bikes, a shaded playground and a flying fox that my kids love. Enough green area to lie around, plus a basketball area and an oval.
Beautiful picnic area. Plenty of tables under cover and bbq facilities. There are junior bike tracks with road signs and a large grass area for ball games.
The area feels secluded being surrounded by Bush, while only minutes from shops and suburbs.
I highly recommend it.
