To say I am thankful to this clinic is an understatement. I owe them my girls life.

I called them last wednesday while my girl was at SASH Tuggerah. SASH had diagnosed Marlie with a common bile duct obstruction and advised my options were surgery (which they had quoted at over $15,000) or euthanasia.
I called nearly a dozen vets hoping to find somewhere who could do the surgery but also wouldnt bury me in debt. After a bunch of straight up refusals, Brunker Road called me back and said they absolutely could do the surgery and we could have her in tomorrow.

On the day of the surgery, Dr Jonathan took the utmost care in explaining every possibility during the procedure and made sure all my questions were answered.

Afterwards my girl received the most wonderful care staying two nights at the vets.

I cant thank them enough. Thanks to them I had the option to save my beautiful girls life. Thanks to them I am saved the heartbreak of having to choose finance over the happy face who nudges her nose into mine to wake me up in the morning.

Can't speak highly enough of the team here at Brunker Road Veterinary Centre. We've been taking our dog here for a little over a year now and every time we have been so happy with the service in clinic and over the phone. Everyone is so incredibly helpful and supportive including the vet nurses, receptionists and veterinarians. We have complete trust in the team to take care of our furbaby, and will always recommend the clinic to anyone looking for a vet in the Newcastle region!

We recently had our dog Charles in for surgery with Dr Nott. I cannot fault the practice and everyone who works there. They kept me well informed before, during and after the procedure and he’s like a new dog since the surgery. We are so happy with everything, would highly recommend Brunker Road to anyone who needs help with their pet.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brunker Road Vet on a weekend and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care provided for my furry friend Maisie.

The veterinarian on duty (Dr Paul) was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to thoroughly examine my dog, listen to our concerns, perform an X-ray, and provide treatment. We were kept informed every step of the way, and my dog received the best possible care.

I am grateful to have found such a clinic that was open on the weekend. I would highly recommend Brunker Road Vet to anyone seeking good care for their pet. Thank you, for being there for my dog on the weekend.

We found Brunker Vets by an accidental phone call when looking for a new vet after our old one chopped off my puppy's toe before doing biopsy, repeated ear infections and high anxiety. He is almost 17 now and we have the best care possible for his physical and mental wellbeing from the wonderful vets especially his Dr Sasha and Dr Mel and the amazing amazing reception staff and nurses. They have become family to not only Buddy but us. They understand when life throws you unpleasant situations and how much you need to take care of your pet at the same time. We could not have gotten through alot of things without the wonderful staff at Brunker road vets. We would never go anywhere else and all the other places have let us down severely from letting my pup run onto the main road to unnecessary surgery. We are so thankful to them all. Couldn't recommend anyone more!

The staff and manager tried to make me where a mask witch is illegal especially because the mask does nothing to prevent the so called virus unless it is a p1 mask and even then does nothing. The manger and staff have zero formal training with humans and infections disease's and do not possess the knowledge to make that call and u can not legally require someone to do so and a over phone console is a joke and insults my intelligence and wastes my money and time and does nothing for my dog just because they don't want to lose money by shutting down because so many of the staff thave contracted the virus of late witch will not stop customers from catching the virus bad show ademstown vets think before opening your mouth with excessive blabber and medical advice witch you do not possess the knowledge to make that call

Fantastic practice. Cannot recommend highly enough. Had all 3 of my dogs there at various times for various issues over the past 2 years, and every vet & vet nurse I've seen have been very knowledgeable, professional & caring. Would go so far as to say the best vet practice/hospital in Newcastle/Lake Mac regions.

I could not recommend Brunker Road Vets highly enough. From their vets to their nurses to their admin team - they are all excellent at their job, absolutely lovely to deal with and all genuinely love animals! We take our two dogs there and have only received exceptional care. Best vet in town.

Have 2x furbabies that have been going to Brunker Road vets for almost 8 years now. They are the only people and place that can help me with kitty who is not a fan a vet visits and they make it bearable for her everytime. And they saved her life when she was a kitten. I will be forever grateful and my puppy Tk, absolutely loves going to visit eveytime! Highly recommend Brubker Road vets, they are affordable, professional and compassionate what more could you want in a vet!

I've been taking my 2 dogs, a border collie and a kelpie, to Brunker Road Vet for years now and would highly recommend them to anyone. They are always so friendly, professional and very reassuring. Even my dogs don't mind visiting which is saying something!

Would not take my animals anywhere else. The service is always outstanding, and the staff are always professional and caring. Fantastic vet!

Decent clinic, they have helped our terrier with a mild Bee sting reaction and allergies. This is a very busy and largish clinic so there are are few days to wait for an appointment. We’ve had good experiences and they’ve done the job, however the vibe isn’t as personable as other smaller clinics, very transactional.

My dog broke her leg due to an accident. I sent her to the Brunker Road Veterinary Centre for treatment. Upon examination by a vet, they said my dog needed a further X-Ray assessment and would let me know the treatment options and costs before any further action was taken. Then I left and my dog was with them for evaluation. After a few hours, instead of giving me an assessment update and quotes, they called me saying that the surgery was completed! I was very shocked to hear this, let alone a huge charge (nearly $4000) for which I was struggling to pay. They should have at least discussed options with me and asked for approval before going ahead. Additionally, they cut into my dog's quick when trimming her toenails (unprofessionally), and nothing was done to the bleeding toenails. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

When your opening statement is "is money no object? " You know these people don't have your pup's best interest at heart. They exaggerated and attempted to fleece us of money as the major talking point every visit. So after I stated 5 times in 1 visit "I'm not paying for surgery for a dog I've had for 1 day", they gave her an antibiotic and she recovered perfectly. They still fleeced me $1000 for overnight stay. Find another vet.

Thanks to the great team at Brunker Road. We have been very happy customers for the past 13 years and your care for our loving puppy Oscar is much appreciated. Your advice and expertise has kept our puppy healthy during serious medical events. When Oscar burst a disk and was unable to walk you went the extra mile giving us the right advice and care to get him back to health. Your treatment has always been spot on. I have recommended your practice to our friends and family and many of whom have gone on to become very happy clients as well. You have always treated Oscar as a member of your family as well as ours and the quality of care and advice is exceptional.
