How lucky am I to have the best coffee shop in the Illawarra at my doorstep. The staff are so warm and friendly and their coffee.lets just say I now have an addiction. The treats are also dangerously good!

Worst coffee in the area. Not sure how it can consistently be so bad. But one sip and it’s straight into the bin. Also $15 for a toasted ham, cheese tomato sandwich. LOL.

Place is really nice looking and great neighborhood location. But there is better coffee at 7/11

Elle and the team never fail to bring a smile to our faces every time we visit! Brown sugar has become our daily coffee stop, they always go above and beyond to provide the best customer service with the best food and coffee in town! (Especially their freshly baked treats).

Have received regular coffee instead of decaf twice and been up all night. Shame as it’s a nice local place.

OMG! I came here on a recommendation and I was blown away! This is a super gorgeous little coffee hole-in-the-wall. They only have take aways but it's definitely worth the visit. We had coffee and pastries. The coffee was great. The cruffin (croissant crossed with a muffin) and the escargot was delightful too! Yum.
The service is super friendly and the the woman who took my order put a smile on my face with her bright and bubbly attitude.
If you have a puppy then you'll be stoked to know that they have a puppuccino station. Dogs welcome!

This place has sadly gone downhill since Lucy sold it (was previously a 5 out of 5 every time for me). Pastries no longer as fresh (stale croissant on Saturday), have been given the wrong items a number of times and the new owner is more distracted and less engaged which is a problem for a local neighbourhood Cafe. The young staff that work there are lovely though, it is consistently the owner who has fuddled my order (haven't realised until home or obviously would raise it then and there). It's a shame as I loved this place!

Beautiful little spot, got some hot chocolates and came out super quick and delicious, highly recommend the ham and cheese toastie!

Took my order then decided to start talking about a customer behind there back. I thought it was inappropriate, unprofessional outright rude and appalling behaviour for a business owner who looks of mature age obviously not.

Its the customers that make & bring you business especially in these challenging times!

On a side note the barista making the coffee was sweet and kind hence the two stars.

We traveled here from central coast, and tried Flat white and cappuccino in this shop, and the Cappuccino is awesome! As well as the friendly staff here!

Amazing coffee and service is super friendly. They have a great selection of pastries and other baked good + they are covid safe business. I bought hoya from them, they help out local businesses by selling their goods while they were closed over Christmas! Highly recommended you pop in grab a coffee and treat you won't regret it!
