Brookfield House Camden

My partner and I visited this amazing place for our anniversary. The team went to extra lengths to make sure we enjoyed our visit customising our high tea experience with heart chocolates and more. Food was second to none with burs5ing flavours. Will definitely be going back for another visit.

Myself and 3 friends had our high tea there. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough food for us. The rooms are all beautifully presented, and you get to eat from the lovely crockery that is sold in the gift shop. Can't wait to go back

Lovely decor. The room my friend and I was in was a bit too noisy. Very small table for 2 people with tea pots, water decanter and 2 teir stands. Did tell this to the lady who brought it but she just pushed everything on the table to make room and nearly push my friends plate off. No refill of tea pot or asking how we were going. The food was not worth the money. Too much sweet food and not enough savoy food. Had to ask for more jam for scones as only provided a little amount. The table wobbled and could not move my chair back to exit as the door was jammed behind it. Definitely prefer the high tea at the hydro majestic.

Best scones I've ever had! Food was delicious, service was great and the vibe was so cute! Highly recommend!

We had such a beautiful morning at Brookfield House. My tea loving 8 year old son and I went out on a little date, and from start to finish loved the service, the food and tea, topped off by the beautiful surrounds of Brookfield House. The lovely lady who helped us with the bill (who I suspect might be the owner) really made my son feel special, engaging in a chat about tea and gifted him a sweet little treat from the shop. It will be a day we remember for a very long time. Highly recommend!

Lovely setting and I was really looking forward to trying this venue, however was very disappointed.

Scones & tea were nice, but other items really disappointing. Sweet items were more like a children’s party, such as jelly cup decorated with lollies and chocolate in cone covered with sprinkles. Looked very similar when it arrived to what the 2 teenagers I took received on theirs and they didn’t eat/like theirs either. I guess I chose the wrong option, but there was no information on menu to explain what to expect which was way out of character for a high tea.

Vegan option was the best of all four options in our group.

I like to support local businesses, so really sorry to say it was the most disappointing high tea I have ever had.

It's such a lovely place to have a high tea. We had the Retro Beach High Tea. The scones were so good. However, one would have been enough, then more of the second serving variety with a bit more savoury. Thought it was a bit expensive for what we got, but the experience and rooms with the shop was very sweet.

A lovely high tea! Great experience and great food. The rooms are beautiful and staff were so attentive.

Took my two daughters, my youngest Granddaughter and Gt. Granddaughter for High tea yesterday. The surroundings are beautiful with chandeliers, lovely wallpapers and wall decorations of flowers…the dainty beautifully presented treats were delicious as were the teas and coffee. The scones are the best as for the strawberry jam…I bought a jar and a canister of the Australian blend of the Strawberry Garden tea which was so delicious hot and cold. The staff were all so lovely and attentive although very busy. Will definitely be going back and definitely highly recommend.

I have been to a few high teas and this one has way better and fresher food than alot of other places. Would go again.

Poor service on the day, extremely expensive and definately NOT value for money. Venue is lovely but would not return.much better high teas around for the money.

Absolutely beautiful! Thank you to Natasha and Jacinda for working with me to organise my bridal shower. Couldn’t fault the service and quality of food:) they were so lovely and accomodating for me and my guests. Appreciate it immensely and can’t wait to be back! Very much a hidden gem in Camden!

Very happy with the food and service. Some may find price a little $$ but you get what you pay for and it is worth every cent.

A friend recommended this place, so the kids and I decided to take my mum there as a Christmas present. It was more than what was expected. The front garden was beautiful, and walking to the back to enter had many lovely things to look at. The kids had fun trying to find all the ladybugs hidden in plants. We got Table 1 in the Garden room, which we think was the best seat in the room. My mum and I got the Jacaranda Meal, and I chose the Blue Unicorn for the tea which was so yum I had to buy some for home. The kids got the children's meal. It didn't look like much food, but we couldn't finish it, so ended up taking some home. Their scones are the best I've ever had. They've also got a lot of teapots and cups, and mum couldn't help but buy some for the kids for when they have their own tea party at home. The kids absolutely love it and want to return. The staff are so lovely.

You need to make sure you book a table because they book out quite fast.

We'll definitely be returning here.

Sydney's answer to T2, only better! I love the warm, friendly service from the Brookfield "tea ladies" and the website has such a huge array of tea accessories, cups, teapots and of course premium quality loose leaf teas from all around the world, including organic blends from Australia! The Sweet Nights and French Earl Grey are must try's!
