Brisbane Waters Private Hospital reviews
24Brisbane Waters Private Hospital (Central Coast Clinic) is excellent. From my very first contact with the hospital, admission process, nursing staff, Drs and specialists, I have always been treated with the utmost kindness, care and respect. The staff are passionate about what they do, are warm, welcoming, non judgemental and always professional. It has been a safe, secure and positive experience. Dr Ranasinghe is a brilliant and highly experienced psychiatrist. He is also an insightful and caring psychotherapist. I have found him to be deeply knowledgeable, understanding, ethical and kind.
I had a 2 week stay to help with mobility etc.the facilities, staff and management were truly excellent
My husband went to Dr Sujatha Kalava, he needed professional help and she was very unprofessional and judgmental, VERY disappointing.
I recently had an urgent operation on my elbow at the hospital and returned this morning, this time unannounced, for assistance with the dressing on the stitches. At both times, the service, help and efficiency of everyone I was involved with have been top class.
From my admission, to my operation, to follow up enquiries (received from the hospital), to the help I received today, and service overall, I can't compliment and thank the staff at the hospital, who helped and attended to me, enough.
From Janelle, with her wide smile and wonderful positive approach and help, at the front desk, and to all the wonderful medical and support staff, thank you.
From my experiences at the Brisbane Waters Private Hospital (including other experiences there some time ago also), I can't recommend it enough.
Thank you. David.
Do not go to Dominic Paul. Absolute disgrace. Throws out medications like lollies without any indepth knowledge on anything. If you lodge a complaint he'll then lie about everything that happened. Disgusting. Ruined my life
This hospitals staff & nurses are simply top notch! I had a nose/sinus operation and required an overnight stay. The nurses were AMAZING! Starting from checking in they made me feel comfortable and in good hands. Following the surgery, they made sure I had a variety of food for my diner, they helped me get into PJ's, checked on me all night making sure I wasn't in any pain etc, even made me a awesome cup of coffee and biscuits at 2am. They even adjusted the aircon to make sure I was sleeping ok and comfortable. I was totally blown away by their kindness and professionalism. What wonderful and caring people. Thank you!
Lovely experience. Very professional and funny nurses, which is what you want in a hospital environment.
Staff were doing their best so no complaints there but the facilities for day surgery were disappointing. It seems to have been modeled after gosford public emergency. No beds after surgery, just chairs. I did get a private alcove because i insisted, but curtain oftem left open. I did not have a minor dental procedure. So sitting in an open room of people in chairs was distressing. I had just wisdom teeth out in berkleyvale years ago. Got full room, ensuite etc. But brisbane waters i was still in my own clothing, no bed, no proper table, i was given some gauze to clean up my blood and failed attempts at eating from my own clothing.
I uphold the positive comments made by a previous reviewer about Dr Priyanga Arachchi. I moved across to her from another psychiatrist at Brisbane Waters who I was unhappy with when I had an admission there (thank God they allow patients to do that). My heart holds a special place for talented practitioners who could take the major cities by storm (with all of the attendant prestige and financial rewards) who choose to stay in the regions where they are needed most. In fact I rather love her for it. Thankyou Dr Arachchi.
Absolutely lovely place the staff from the administration to even the cleaners themselves were so lovely and kind, best hospital I've ever been in and the way they looked after my little baby girl I'm forever grateful
I saw Dr shafi once and then on the day of my appointment she cancelled not only the appointment but me as an outpatient because my needs were to complex. I was told this by a receptionist not even by Dr shafi her self. The consulting suites have left me feeling disturbed and disgusted to even think that Dr shafi can hand over my private information to a receptionist to tell me that she won't see me as an outpatient after only having one consult with her a few months ago. She could of at least had a duty of care to follow up and tell me in a consult. I highly recommend going to a completely different hospital not only for this but the dis organisation skills Brisbane waters private has. Also the central coast clinic has turned up side down. I highly recommend any other hospital but this one.
Top facilities in NSW.
The best ergonomic chairs provided for each room.
Best view in the room, trees
The Sunlight transforms. Solar heating.
If you'd to receive enduring transformations, body, mind, goals, go to Brisbane Private Waters, in Woy Woy.
I would not ponder, just go.
Bespoke catering services.
In house hair services
The cleaning staff come in daily, you can't get a more thorough team of cleaners than than Wayne and his team.
The gym has the best ambience. Clear skies, birds, aeroplanes and outdoor furniture in view.
Thank you.
I am forever grateful for the staffs and especially the in house psychiatrist Dr. Priya Arachi and the in take officer Maddy. They are just incredible and passionate about their jobs.
When we felt very helpless and stressed, and Maddy offered us a spot in the Mental health unit. My daughter has since recovered and feel better than ever.
The staffs were always there to help and tried to accommodate her needs even in the most difficult times during covid lock down.
It was a long way for us to travel to get there but it was well worthwhile.
Thank you so much.
Pprtia.
Fie, in the mental health department was AMAZING. She has been so supportive, informative and helpful. This journey we've been on would have been so much more difficult without her.
The absolute worst admin staff of any organization I have come across. Thats even after going to the head management. They do not return phone calls. Was over 3 weeks before they finally got back to me and said I could be admitted. No faith at all in this organization. No thought whatsoever for people needing urgent care. Funny.thought this was what they did.
Worst hospital ever! CEO Debbea and NUM Georgia have no sense of patient care and do not understand the basics of human compassion. They also stated "They can pick and choose their patients" because they are a private hosptital.
I attended Brisbane Waters hospital admissions and as The lady that addmitted me was fantastic and very helpful. I then went onto day surgery as i was introduced to Karen who is a nurse that completed my surgery admission. Karen was lovely caring and very help. My experience so far as im still in the hospital is first class. All the staff, nurses and Drs are great. The best hospital. First day after surgery Liz is looking after me. Very professional caring nurse who really enjoys her job and is so helpful you actually think your in a 5 star motel.
This afternoon I was introduced to Karlla who who looking after me this afternoon. Karla was very professional in the way she spent quality time with the elderly patient explaining his medication and just being a good listener as the elderly gentlman wanted someone to chat to. It was 30 hrs since my operation as i needed to go to the toilet. Deb a nurse at the other end of the ward stop and answer my call to use the toilet. Both Karla and Deb got me up and assisted me going to the toilet with all the drains and lines i had in me. Being 120kg the both did an amazing job and where very understanding and took their time to gently get me up as I was sore and had to be careful i didn't get dizzy and full over. Whilst i was in the toilet they both made my bed with clean sheets which I thought was lovely. Nothing like getting into a nice fresh bed. Both ladies assisted me back to bed and made sure I was comfortably and pain free. Dr Ruthven reviewed my wound and said it was all good. He was delighted at how quick my recovery has been. Thanks to staff at Brisbane Waters hospital for looking after me the way you did very professional
Have just had day surgery there, and from the first member of staff I spoke to until the last, they were all wonderful, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere seemed very relaxed which helped with the expected nervousness I was feeling. Dr Kelly the anaeshethtist listened to my past issues with anaesthetic and I have come away feeling like nothing ever happened. My thanks also to Dr Makary who's has left me with no discomfort at all. Could not have asked for better!
Excellent hospital. Dr Ramy Makary was wonderful and he took me seriously. Nurses and Anaesthetists very professional and great people.
My mother spent the last two weeks of her life here, fantastic staff, dedicated nurses, they made it easy to say goodbye and my mother left this world in peace.
