Brisbane Water National Park reviews
37I commend the view from the trig lookout, at Kariong, East of Woy Woy Rd. Great views to Palm Beach, Waggstaff, Saratoga, Mnt Wondabyne
Driving past this place was beautiful. There were picture perfect ocean and nature views that are amazing beyond compare. Based on what I’ve seen it must be an amazing park! You have to see this place.
Wendabyne station is located in Central Coast in the northern part of Sydney, it's just over one hour from Sydeny Central Station. I really enjoy this no road connected train station, the smallest station in Australia. The station has free WiFi and radio speakers and it is on the water, it's so peaceful and beautiful.
Beautiful place. Rode on my hardtail and was wet so pretty slippery but still passable. Need a good fitness level but worth the effort.
Wild flowers are in full bloom and the many water features and landscape make this one of the top walks around. It is moderate to hard so be sure you are up for it. Well worth jt.
If you are here get up to Mount Wondabyne. A longer walk but the last 10 mins involves a grade 5 hike. Very rigorous but quick. All said, it’s worth the effort. What a view from up there! Only to be experienced
My wife and I have been here couple of times. There are so many things to see and do here. We love its beaches. Patonga beach and Pearl beach would be our favourites. We love the hikes too. The hike from Patonga to Pearl beach is a nice one to do. It is about 5km each way with some steep inclines. There are some great lookouts along the way too. The Piles Creek loop track is a very nice easy hike to do also. A beautiful place to chill is the Paul Landa Reserve. It has some amazing rock formations and views. So many things to do here. Can’t wait to go back.
Like the rest of the Central Coast a near unspoiled piece of paradise, great views great scenery mother nature at her finest
Piles creek loop trail is one of the best I’ve done in NSW. Waterfalls, lookouts and bridges, very greenery than most of the National Parks. Must see attraction is the Phil Houghton Bridge which is a metal suspension bridge that crosses Piles Creek. A challenging walk but worth the trip.
The Hawkesbury Track between Mullet Creek track and Tommo's Loop is a beautiful walk. Its a 5.8 km loop from Woy Woy Rd via Tunnel Trail and Mullet Creek track, return up Tommos Loop to the Tunnel Firetrail. It's an easy walk going through heathland and open woodland, with the section of the Hawkesbury Track revealing some interesting rock platforms, some nice views and the occasional scramble up and down rock shelves. The Park is currently alive with birds - honeyeaters, wattlebirds, finches, thornbills, pardalotes, scrubwrens and blue wrens were all seen along the walk. Highly recommended.
Silent park with amazing walks that are private and secluded, allowing you to see many different wildlife roaming along. Keep an eye out for the crazy snakey snakes slithering around
To reach waterfalls you need to walk for around 7km.
Nice drive and Very limited Sign boards.
Beautiful walking and cycling around this area. Some great riding with challenging short descents.
Quiet park with amazing walks that are secluded, allowing you to see many different wildlife roaming along. Keep an eye out for the lace monitors roaming around!
We went here Brisbane Water National Park.dunno where to park, dunno how to get in so just park out side, near to road.continue by walk in to the forest, but in the phone maps said have to walk another 1 hour 15 minutes after so long walk.we decided to go back to car.but get nice spot for some photo.wish there a direction how to get to the waterfall.
The hieroglyphs were amazing, I couldn't f8nd the birthing stone but was blessed to be able to make a offering at the grandmother tree. Thank you to the aboriginal people for letting us walk on your sacred ground.
A less known yet amazing nature reserve. The best waterfalls and little lookouts. Highly recommended.
Really a good place for multi-day trails.
Just need to be prepared with your own gear.
But car parking is bit of an issue. Rest is Nature.
Great for walking and enjoy with waterfalls.
It is a short walking loop. You will meet a super nature with waterfalls. Anyway, if you love to explore your way. You will see a beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Accessible from multiple entries. Good place to spend some time during weekends.
