I'm disgusted by the way the the executive people shut down students when wanting to speak out about particularly discussions. I DO NOT advice enrolling your kids to this school, ITS DISGUSTING! My daughter told me animals get abused by people, and they don't even get expelled. They called my daughter a svlt for rolling her SKIRT. Not my fault she is built different. I think the teachers should dress the way they want all the girls to, showing a better example. It has come to my attention through discussions with my child and other parents that some teachers have been exhibiting an unnecessary level of sensitivity to what students choose to wear and how they style their hair. This emphasis on appearances not only seems disproportionate but also raises questions about the allocation of teachers' time and energy in the classroom. As parents, we believe that a school's primary responsibility should be to provide quality education and foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.

Hands down simply the best girls catholic school in the Eastern Suburbs. Both our daughters attended Brigidine and couldn't have been happier with the level of service provided by both the Principal at the time Ms Edmondson and the teachers from Mrs Parsons to mention a few etc. Always genuine, professional, welcoming, caring and the level of education provided beyond expectations - ensuring the students received Top Notch level of Education where it aims for its students to succeed higher than their neighboring schools. We were extremely satisfied and happy with the level of Education, care and guidance the school provided both our girls scoring ATR's in the 90s. Both entered & have since graduated from USYD. It's no wonder Brigidine always maintains in the Top 50 in the HSC. Anyone seeking a top school that provides and wants to be taught the best of quality standard of an education level beyond the grade your daughters - and see your daughter grow into a confident and aspiring young adult, reaching for goals beyond. Then Brigidine Randwick is the school.

It is unfortunate that such a school environment exists in this day and age. The voice of students are withheld, and they are punished when they do try and speak out. Strict and highly unnecessary rules are in place, not for the benefit of the students health, but for the selfish reputation of the school. For example, students are unable to wear the rain-jacket unless it is a 'rainy day. ' However the uniform which students are expected to wear is purely unacceptable. I have found that many students are feeling cold and unwell, and have been given uniform strikes for wearing the warm rain-jacket (Which can be used as a windbreaker, and is technically still part of the school uniform), and is sufficient to keeping the students warm and feeling well. That is just one example. Another example of the school's selfishness ironically tarnishing their own name is the executive team. They have introduced several and unfair policies which have negatively impacted on the wellbeing and mental health of the students. FOR example, a student which i shall not name, was wearing slightly larger hoops than what is allowed (The uniform policy is so restricting), and the Vice Principal humiliatingly called them out, and ignored a girl next to her who had dyed her hair neon pink. It was quite obvious that there was a double standard in that situation. I will write another review if this school doesn't get its priorities in check.

School doesn't take mental health seriously. The school doesn't care about our wellbeing and suspends us if we are crying. They make us games about coping with mental health and think it is a joke. Many girls are very uncomfortable with this subject and they think that we can joke about a sensitive topic.if a teacher does bad things to a kid the school suspends the kid and praises the teacher.this is not ok please don't send your kid here send her to a school where she will be happier!

They want to give me a detention for being cold. They wont let me wear a neutral coloured long sleeve undergarment because its not school uniform, so i wear my raincoat as the sports jacket or cardigan is not warm enough but then they say i cant wear my raincoat it there is no rain (not to mention the raincoat is expensive and some students cannot afford it).

This school may be promising and good at times but also very controlling. I have been bullied, physically and mentally and all this school does is suspend or have a go at my bully. I have asked to move many times. Some of the teachers are good but the rest just scream at you. So I have also developed larger anxiety then what I had before I started. I do suggest you come here if you want to get anxiety. We also had no councillor for around 6 months, and even if your depressed and hurt, you need to go to the year coordinator to get permission to go to the councillor. This school also hammers into our brains that we are girls and even if your trans, genderfluid, nonbinary, they still make you be "the lady you were born as".

The quality of this school has dramatically declined in recent years due to the terrible form of the executive team. Mental health is totally undermined here - the girls cannot speak to the school counsellor without first seeing their Year Coordinator who takes it up to the executives who ultimately decide if the child is "worthy" of seeing a counsellor. If this does not express the revolting manner in which mental health is handled at this school, I really don't know what does.

Furthermore, the school turns a blind eye to Covid cases amongst the staff and the students. Schools throughout NSW have been reporting to parents the daily case numbers as well as the grades that affected students are part of. This school, however, has remained completely silent regarding the matter. Even when half of the teaching staff was absent due to Covid, the school made no statement and not once addressed the severity of the situation. How they thought that secrecy was the answer to the issue truly astounds me. The complete lack of communication and total disregard for student and teacher wellbeing is quite honestly appalling.

Brigidine is a sad excuse of a school and perfectly exemplifies how rapidly an education institution can crumble as a result of incompetent executives. 5 years ago I would have happily recommended this school but after watching such obscene happenings take place, including the mental health and Covid blunders as well as their unwillingness to speak openly about consent education, I unfortunately cannot recommend Brigidine any longer. For any parents considering sending their daughter to this school, I implore you to look elsewhere. Please find somewhere your daughter will be looked after, encouraged to be themselves, and can grow into a confident young woman. This is something Brigidine is simply incapable of doing.

Honestly do wish that i could give this a 0 but that's not an option. This school is so arrogant and have absolutely no respect for their students opinion and belief, they only care about the student giving respect to them when the school doesn't even give the same respect that they give. This school says that they accept everyone when they don't, most teachers here are disrespectful and treat their students horribly.along with the fact new teachers barley stay for even a year plus the fact current teachers are inconsistent with their attitudes. There are rat and cockroach infestations and the front gate smells awful and they compare students chewing gum to looking like drug addicts. They also removed mufti day since they said "The girls are dressing like slvts" as if crop tops and short are considered slvtty now a days.

Brigidine was once a lovely school. However the executive team of this school has led the school to significant decline. A school that does not value every subject equally is one that is lacking in merit. The cruelty of one certain teacher to her year 12 class was utterly unacceptable and caused distress amongst the students. However this school has/had some spectacular teachers who are holding the place together. I would recommend sending your daughter to St Clare`s instead of this school as St Clare's results trump Brigidine in recent HSC results. The decline in HSC results can be directly attributed to how the class of 2021 was treated so badly by the executives of this school. The school is becoming a business rather than a place of learning and development.

My sister was one of the year 12s to stand up to the teachers at this school and wanted to support her in any way I can. Bloody rip to the school's reputation if only they would treat mental health properly.

Lovely girls but they're being silenced. Other schools in the Eastern Suburbs have seemed to be quite progressive regarding recent contemporary issues. Where has been Brigidine been?

Teachers do not take students opinions and point of views into account and just teach straight from the curriculum which doesnt work for anyone

What's been happening at this school in the past 3 months has been unacceptable. The school hasn’t had a school counsellor in the past 3 months, other schools can find one within one day. Obviously this school doesn't care about students mental health and they send students home when they’re having panic attacks because they can't be bothered to help them. It's so obvious that they need a school counsellor. Also many students have complained about the treatment of mental health and other issues in this school. Instead of listening to the students concerns the executive members of the school turn a blind eye on them and they choose to get these students in trouble. For example they suspended a year 12 student recently for speaking out against all these issues. I find this completely disgraceful and they shouldn't be punishing students for speaking out. All this school cares about it there reputation rather than the students in the school. Sooner or later someone will ruin your reputation as a school with the way you're going with treating students and the ignorance towards these issues. If my review gets deleted then you know the school is trying to revive their reputation by removing the truth.

I am (unfortunately) an ex-student and I would strongly advise against sending your daughter here. There are serious issues within executive staff that is becoming increasingly concerning. Executive staff treat the students so poorly that many ex-students have been complaining to Sydney Catholic Schools after graduating. The school is not was it was 5+ years ago. Any other school in the area would be better.

Great school. The girls get a very good education. I would have given it 5 stars if the girls were permitted to study more than the minimum number of HSC units.
