Bridget Kennedy taught my Y12 daughter some great skills which provided her with the knowledge, confidence and ability to complete her jewellery for her HSC Design & Technology major works independently. Bridget is very experienced and was able to explain steps clearly, making it easy for her to learn and progress efficiently. My daughter is very grateful to Bridget for her care and support. Bridget's own range of jewellery is stunning - and my children kindly purchased a beautiful ring for me for Mother's Day. Thank you Bridget!

This was a real fun workshop run by Bridget. It was an opportunity not only to learn how to make earrings but also to meet a new group of friends. I hope Bridget is able to offer more workshops as she is a natural teacher and gave me a really positive experience last Saturday afternoon in North Sydney. A very interesting area!

One of the original Danks Street Waterloo jewellers and now based on the lower North Shore. Lots of different and unique handmade jewellery by local Australian jewelry designers.

Had so much fun in jewellery making last Saturday! Bridget showed us the various options (earrings, bracelets and necklaces) we can come up with with the tools and materials provided and encouraged us to be creative. And I really like the idea of recycling old jewellery into something new and UNIQUE! Thanks again Bridget.

I thought it felt familiar when I entered the space at North Sydney yesterday. And bingo, I was right! I recalled the same vast range of artisan jewellers' work from your space in Danks Street, Waterloo. I came away yesterday with a gorgeous pair of Bridget Kennedy earrings which received compliments on their first wearing last night. So wonderful to see so the work of so many jewellers of such varying styles in the one space. I love being able to wear unique pieces and support artisan jewellers at the same time. I'm definitely returning!

Bridget recently held a introductory basket making workshop at her studio and it was great fun as well as being educational. She generously provided a selection of materials and went around instructing us how to create a basket using either plastic bags or strips of material and colourful cotton. There were 8 ladies in total I believe attending the workshop and It was a wonderfully congenial time. Sincere thanks Bridget for a thoroughly enjoyable and creative morning.

Discovered this today. What a beautiful selection of curated jeweller by local artists. If you are after original items, rather than what everyone else is wearing, and love supporting people who are experts at their craft this is your place.

What an amazing space – thought provoking and imaginative jewellery and objects from some of best Australian contemporary artists. Bridget Kennedy also curates exhibitions, artists talks and workshops. I love that both her passions, art and sustainability, are reflected in her work and her ethics. It is a joy to visit the project space.every time.

Bridget tutored my husband and I to make new wedding rings for ourselves. It was super fun and we were thrilled with the results. Bridget is a great teacher and Studio 20/17 is a lovely shop and gallery.

This beautiful space exhibits and sells beautiful contemporary jewellery. Bridget is a champion who knows her stock and artists well so will always find you the perfect piece and explain their ideas, material choices and ways of making. A gem in North Sydney with a rotating window display exhibition to stimulate and engage, Bridget runs a Repair Cafe so you can fix those pesky broken jewellery pieces and get them back on your body. Win and win and win. I am so thankful this space exists.

What a gem in North Sydney. If you're looking for something truly special with the added bonus of being ethically made, visit jewelry designer Bridget Kennedy at Studio 20/17! It's clear Bridget pours her heart into each piece she makes and only carries other designers who do the same. The common thread is a passion for exquisite jewelry made with repurposed materials and the environment in mind. I attend her crafting hour every Wednesday afternoon, and with each visit, I leave the studio feeling enchanted and inspired. Thanks, Bridget!

Studio 20/ 17 Project Space Conteporary Jewellery shop is such a delight to visit. It is a a feast for the eyes to see all these amazing jewellery pieces, some cleverly crafted with recycled materials but you will never know just looking at them! A bunch of great jewellery designers' work under one roof.

And Bridget who runs the place need a special mention. Such an amazing jeweller who recently melted a couple of my kid's gold bracelets, designed and make these into a pair of absolutely beautiful earrings! Look through your jewellery box now, find unloved pieces, go and see Bridget and let her help you do some transformation into something magnificent with a wow factor like she did for me.

The North Shore needs this kind of intelligent, giving and beautiful community-centric artspace with Bridget's amazing eye for local art and artisans. Check out the Repair Café on Sundays, it's so much fun

A great place to have a special engagement or wedding ring made. Particularly if you want to use your own gold or gemstones. Really original styles and beautifully made.

I attended a natural fibres cordage workshop in this space yesterday. The workshop was run by the exhibiting artists and carried out amongst (and under!) their beautiful work. It was very inspiring to be surrounded by these pieces which incorporated the cording technique that we were learning. The workshop itself was FANTASTIC and I left feeling enthused and excited with the new skills I had learnt.

I attended the Jewellery Repair Cafe hosted by Bridget on 16 February. A necklace and a pair of earrings are now able to go back on my body after time out. Much appreciated.

This is a wonderful community resource, thanks to an affirming circle of creative women. The cup of coffee and homemade biccies were a bonus!
