After 30 working years of back pain I decided to dedicate 2023 as "the year of my back". I have tried physios and chiros over the years and only ever alleviated the short term pain problem.

Brian's approach is systematic and sound, with the emphasis on mastering the basics before progressing.
Each session involves reviewing exercises and ironing out bad habits before advancing to the next level.

After the first 2 weeks my back pain was gone. More importantly, I now feel stronger and fitter than I have since high school.
I no longer slouch in a chair.

Brian is a great teacher and trainer who I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to improve and strengthen themselves, provided they are prepared to commit to the following: -

45 minutes of Brian's exercises every day, or at least every second day.for the rest of your life. It's that simple.

If you're not prepared to put in the effort, you will waste everyone's time, and your money.

Brian, thank you for teaching me the skills that have been positively life changing.

Brian gives fantastic back rehab coaching and expert knowledge. I have been to physios and doctors who couldn’t give specific answers and exercises that would sustain my back issues 1”long term. Be prepared to work hard, the cost is worth it.

I was suffering with severe lower back pain with two herniated discs after my first few appointments the pain vanished.i could not be happier the the treatment i recieved,
Brian will give you the exercise program to be pain free

After 20 years of suffering lower back pain I’ve finally found an expert who knew what he was talking about, I’ve tried everything else with no success, Brian takes a highly knowledgeable assessment of the problem then slowly & very precisely builds a strong foundation back to normality, I’m nearly 60 years old & im back to wresting & tackling ppl like an 18 year old, having vitality again is priceless

I originally sort out Brian for his qualifications with Professor McGill, the treatment I received was so much more, he has ultimately changed my life for ever.

I have a long standing lower spinal injury which occurred in 2005. I have had 14 surgical procedures over the following years, some major and other minor one including one complicated fail surgery which resulted in further damage.

I had physiotherapy 1 -2 times a week for over 13 years, I was also continually taking pain meds to manage and tried just about every available treatment option for lower back pain.

I have been seeing Brian for just on 2 years, since commencing I have not had any other treatment and now require no medication for pain.

My visits were originally weekly for the first 9 months but now I see Brian monthly and I am essentially self managed the rest of the time.

I could not recommend Brian enough he has given me my life back. Brian has identified my aggravators and taught me how to activate and strengthen my core to enable me to get through the day. I still have issues from time to time due to the complexities of my injury, however I am regularly blown away by his knowledge and his ability to access and resolve those issues.

I would highly recommend seeing Brian for any issue involving the spine, I would further recommend seeing him before making any decisions on surgical intervention.

As a chronic back pain and hip pain sufferer, I found Brian and he changed my life, through his thorough and methodical approach. He taught me how to limit my aggravators and build a solid foundation to start exercising and living pain free again. I would recommend him wholeheartedly. The best part is after 7 years of hobbling around thinking I needed a hip replacement, it doesn’t seem I need one after all!

I spent 2 years and honestly thousands of dollars seeing exercise physiologist, physiotherapists and osteopath’s but still could Overcome my back injury until I found Bryan. He extremely knowledgeable and will certainly help turn your life around if you have and injury.

Brian was excellent with his approach and methodology in helping me fix my back pain of 2 years. He bases his approach off Stuart McGill's work in spinal stability and high quality movement, and adds a further layer to this to provide a more detailed methodology to help master the critical exercises and techniques. I would recommend Brian to anyone suffering from back pain without any hesitation.

Brian Ellicot uses a method Called the McGill method to help treat the cause of back injuries. This technique has been developed over 40 years and is extremely effective. Brian is a fantastic guy with a lot of patience and experience as a PT, methodical in his common sense approach to treating back problems. Highly recommended, it will be the best investment in your health. Thank you Brian.

I can't recommend Brian highly enough. I went to him frustrated with ~5 years of reoccurring lower back issues that were impeding my ability to stay active as I hit middle age. Brian has both an exceptional understanding of back issues backed up with a philosophy of personal accountability that was a perfect combination for me.

I made progress on my back pain after a few weeks with Brian, and after a few months was stronger and more resilient than I had been since I was in my (early!) 20s. Two years later and I have had few back problems and every time I have, I know what I've done that has led to the issue and can quickly address it.

Brian has provided some great preventative maintenance to ensure that I'm fitter and more flexible with my lower back. I should probably see him more often as I never have the motivation to do it at home by myself

After seeing several medical professionals for various lower back and shoulder pains without getting any results, a colleague suggested I see Brian and I’ve never been happier or healthier.

I've had chronic back pain for close to 5 years, but the past year with Brian has seen me improve massively. Whilst i'm not quite there yet with my rehab, I'm certainly on the right track and feel the best i have in 5 years. I'm confident Brian's knowledge and approach will see me to success. I'd highly recommend him.

After visiting a chiropractor to “fix” my posture I ended up with a herniated disc which was causing sciatica down one leg and resulted in pain and numbness. I was almost cripple for some time.

Here I was, a 40 year old who used to be a competitive athlete suddenly could not sit, stand, walk or do the normal things people do on a daily basis. It was the first time in my life where I felt hopeless and the thought of not being able to do any form or exercise for the rest of my life was very depressing.

At the same time I had lost 10kgs of muscle within a space of 6 weeks from not being able to train while gluteal muscle atrophy started developing.

Visits to the physio became more and more frustrating as it seemed like nothing besides a surgery could cure me.

The specialist gave me 3 months to let my back heal on its own before surgery could be considered, but even 5 months later there was hardly any improvement.

After researching on the different surgery methods and their success rate I was more and more convinced that I didn’t want anyone touching my back. I knew that I would never be the same after having surgery.

So I started looking at alternative treatments and came across Brian Ellicott.

Just when I thought it was all over Brian showed me that it was not the case. His knowledge and approach helped me turn everything around and made me feel hopeful again.

He was very careful and methodical on how he approached my issue specifically which made me feel confident and safe at all times. He was with me in every step of the process, making sure that I was making progress and that his instructions were followed accurately.

Brian’s tailored program is carefully designed with a range of exercises which assist in taking the pressure of the spine while strengthening the muscles around it in order to protect it.

Within 2 months from when I started seeing Brian the pain was significantly reduced and mobility was increased. Just over 3 months later I was able to get back to the gym and getting my fitness back to where it was.

I highly recommend Brian to anyone who wants to see real results and is not looking for “band aid solutions”.

Brian is a absolute master with the back and legs. Have been training with him weekly now for a 2 years and can’t recommend him highly enough. He is a great guy and all about solutions, not gouging money, which is refreshing in his industry.
