Brewarrina Visitor Information Centre reviews
14The two young people manning the centre yesterday were so pleasant and over the top helpful. I needed a dentist and they rang the Brewarrina, Bourke and Cobar hospitals finding out information for me. So very grateful. Thank you
Friendly and informative staff. Lots of goodies to peruse and purchase if you like. Definitely worth a stop.
Had a fantastic time at Brewarrina. Info centre was great, cemetery was interesting inf on Great grandparents, CP was terrific & most delicious food & courtesy bus at RSL. Very happy with our stay in Bree
Fantastic centre, stopped to have a look around, staff got involve help our 80yo father catch up with locals.
Lovely girl, excellent communication skills, easy to share background and life back in the 70's in Bre.
A must see AND HEAR. Truth & reconciliation is knowing the truth rather than convenient colonising lies.
Operating in a re-purposed bowling club club house, this place has lots of interesting stuff and when I was there very helpful staff. Out back is an art exhibition. A charming small town asset.
The young woman working in the centre was so lovely and helpful. She gave us information on the area, but also gave us an insight into the towns history and current situation.
Learning about our outback towns is interesting and important. We really enjoyed our visit to the centre, made so enjoyable by the staff.
We did the fish-trap Aboriginal guided tour. They have a nice building showcasing Aboriginal life and tools. One of the most impressive part for me was the excellent acoustics of the rooms. I know it's not related. Outside they show you the fish traps in the shallow river.
Helpful knowledgable ladies behind the counter, some good souvenirs and items for sale, clean toilets! A great place to stop when travelling.
Very informative pity should have gone there first up to find out about time tables to various guided tours
Stayed 2 days
Brewarrina caravan park was really good and Gary and Ronda where perfect hosts and so friendly, if we go through there again we will make a point of stopping there for another couple of days.
Full of information about past and present plus some great shopping. This visitors information centre also has an exhibition space and the Living and Culture photography exhibition was fantastic. They also have art supplies and local food products here, plus the usual souvenirs and books that have been written about Brewarrina. It’s really great
Tidy centre, plenty of parking and one covered table and chairs. Toilets with John Murray murals as you arrive. Also very clean and tidy amenities accessible via the information centre shop. Great little shop with Brewarrina keep sakes, lovely happy staff.
