Bread, Espresso & - North Wollongong

I’m very disappointed! They wouldn’t serve me as I only had cash. If u go cashless, u should also go clientless!

First time here in Wollongong for Bread Expresso & - another terrific store - we'd only been to Thirroul many times previously. Great coffee, light airy cafe picking up the beautiful ocean breeze

Coffee was very average tho, i expected more.

We had breakfast at Bread, Espresso & and we were very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was good. The fruit sourdough, croissant and banana bread were all very delicious, and the yoghurt bowl was beautifully put together and so flavourful. Very crowded, but worth it. Definitely recommend!

Such nice food and coffee, love the toasties but is very inaccessible, so hard to find parking.

Good coffee and the toasties were delicious. One star withheld because they forgot two of our drinks.
Also they don't accept cash unless it's into the tip jar next to the register, happy to accept that of course. The sign apologising for the inconvenience of not taking cash just rings hollow too.

How come it has taken me soooo long to find this little jewel of a place? Two thumbs up for the coffee and Brittany's passionfruit cheesecake is drool worthy. The smallest critique: they didn't have ice-cream to make an affogato. Never fear, we'll be back. ️

Stumbled past this place today, crazy busy but surprisingly didn’t wait long, food and coffee were great and staff were lovely!

The coffee was on point. Seriously on point. Cracking location too. Will be back, ideally daily.

Great spot to pick up a coffee and a fresh loaf of sourdough. If you're after a full sit-down meal there are better (and cheaper) options nearby, but Bread, Espresso & is undoubtedly home to the best coffee in North Wollongong. They offer a full selection of milk alternatives too (inc Bonsoy brand soy milk) and have a good range of cold drinks available (smoothies, juices, kombucha etc). A welcome addition to the area.

Such a great atmosphere and the staff are so warm and energetic. Had brunch here the other day, the cinnamon espresso smoothie was delicious! Best coffee spot in north gong!
