37 Nice views and so relaxing to be here
Must visit if you are looking to reduce your stress level
Definitely worth the visit and walk along the Kokoda Trail - especially on ANZAC Day when the wreaths are there in tribute. The trail itself is a nice walk - not too strenuous. Lots of photo opportunities too. Make sure you stop and read all the signs along the way to get a taste of history.
An excellent park for spending quite evening. You can also bring children to play in one of two playground.
Quite a nice little park which you can walk around and learn about Australian war history particularly the Kokoda Trail
Located at Rhodes, the only down side of this lovely park is the nose emanating from the nearby busy road. Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway is a worthwhile saunter
Public toilets at both ends of the park
Great fenced playground for the kids. The future upgrade of the park which has already commenced, is only going to make it a more enjoyable park.
The scenery is beautiful, the coast is under construction, there are few people, the yachts are walking slowly, slow life comes here
I used to to visit here often but recently with the area restrictions due to construction has been a pain to general public. Still it's a good area for short time getaway.
Couple of picnic spots give a good resting station option. If you enjoy water side picnic but want to avoid the hassle of beaches, this is the perfect place.
Wonderful Lively place for jogging, walking and open air yoga. Kids side and parking really making this place so much popular.
The mobile phone was incorrect! This is just a general park and no business operates in this park.
Beautiful little reserve hidden in suburbia. Large enough grounds for all age groups, and dedicated play area for the kids. A few cafes and a good restaurant in the same area. The attraction is also the rememberance park next door and a huddle children's area.
Very nice park with many picnic seating benches and awesome view on the river! My only concern is about the children playing area as it is near from the main road!
We have been coming to this park for a few years now. It is off Homebush bay drive road and has bay views. Kakoda track is right next to the Reserve. Area is very popular and attracts huge crowds on weekdays and weekends. BBQ facilities are available onsite and has a lot of open grassed area. For kids, the Reserve has a sand pit along with two play areas. Visitors need to be mindful of the water as there is no protective barrier.
Awesome place with the River front and an amazing deck to stroll on. Very scenic in the vicinity of the city
Great little area with everything you need to have a great time. As you arrive you enter a carpark with plenty of space and a view of the river. A decent size children's playground to keep them occupied as well. Toilet facilities provided too though not the best maintained unfortunately.
I loved walking around the park especially the Kokoda Memorial track. Such a great place to learn about the history of the Kokoda Trail and a great tribute to all of the soldiers who served there.
Family friendly park with a very beautiful scenery. Kids can play with nice view and a playground. I've seen families celebrating kid's birthday and barbeque with friends. There is plenty of parking and if using bus or train, it is just in the corner. With Italian Restaurant nearby. Recommended *****
Area is very popular and attracts huge crowds on weekdays and weekends best place to enjoy with family.
All day parking on Sundays. Nice view, good play area for the kids, and wonderful place for a bbq
Liked the place. But, badly needs more parking spaces. Hassle to look for parking in loop and the Concord road outside had no parking as the traffic runs.
