Bostin Brew Co reviews
28Really yummy, perfect food, perfect service even when busy for valentine's brekky. And the view outstanding:)
I go often as I live in the area plus every Sunday for nippers. I find their food really tasty but their service is rubbish. They are so slow it’s unacceptable really. I usually order their toasty, it’s really delicious. The other week it took them 45 mins for my ham and cheese toastie, had to ask a couple times where it was. Extra disappointing as I missed watching my child at nippers as I’m waiting for a toastie. Anyways, fast forward to today. I went to order a toastie again today, didnt want to get caught out again with their long wait times, I asked what the wait time was for the toastie before I order it, while the girl at the counter went to check with the kitchen, the rude blonde one on the coffee machine had some attitude towards me with the smirk and smart Arse comment “as long as it takes them to make it”, not necessary to speak towards a customer hey? Food is good though if you want to wait ages, better off going to beach bums, way better
A little cafe at One Mile beach. An excellent spot with great views (the sea, dolphins and whales), excellent coffee, breakfast or lunch. Menu is limited but everything we have ever ordered has been tasty. The staff are always warm and friendly. Just love to sit with the sun warming my back with a delicious coffee after taking our dog for a walk on 1 mile beach. Sometimes alone and sometimes chatting with the friendly locals and
The pros and cons of my experience this morning around 8 - 8: 30am.
Pros:
• Nice staff, fixed up my order when they didn't have the ingredients for my original order.
• Dog friendly, good seating and atmosphere.
• My burger and oreo shake were quite yummy.
Cons:
• Unorganised, took half an hour to get my shake. I got my burger within the first 10 minutes but my friend who ordered the same thing had to wait half an hour for theirs. (Wasn't very busy at this time as well)
• They forgot my chips with my burger. The chips were over salted.
• My original order was a Oreo shake but they couldn't find the ingredients for it so they gave me the choice of a mango shake which I took. It did not taste like mango at all and was very watery. (They did end up finding the ingredients for my Oreo shake and gave me one.)

I would go here again, I was just disappointed.
Had a wonderful experience here recently while on holidays with my family.
The breakfast was delicious.
I had the smashed avo which was to die for, and my partner the B&E roll which was amazing.
The place is in a prime location and very kid friendly.
I would highly recommend!
What a little gem this place is. We were out for a drive and initially stopped for a coffee, which was awesome, since it was close to lunch we decided to have a bite to eat as well. I had the Rainbow Bowl - beautiful and hubby had fish and chips which was also great. The service was good, staff very friendly, atmosphere good and we received both orders in a timely fashion. We will definitely be back for another visit.
Being July it’s quite. But it still took 50min to get 2 large hot chips even after I check on them 35min into waiting. They only had a few customers but multitasking isn’t their strong point. Unfortunately it’s not the first time.
I ordered a $16 BLAT and it was disgusting, the avocado was off.
I took it back and explained the situation and politely they gave me another one which was just as bad. Inedible.
Can’t even get a sandwich right with two attempts.
I have had multiple breakfasts and lunch at this cafe and love it! Great position by the beach and all of the staff are always helpful and happy. Highly recommend
The Bostin is at the Cape Hawke SLSC on One Mile Beach. I dropped in here for a meeting a few weeks back and it is a lovely spot, nice coffee and great service. A hidden gem.
Staff extremely nice, where do you get such wonderful staff from.
The food is very nice, well presented, in a superior location.
They need a phone tradies do not have time to wait 40 minutes for food you need to get a phone
Great spot to grab your breaky and coffee after a morning walk along the beach.
The coffee was great and so was the breaky blat. Nice friendly staff.
We have been on holidays all week and the last day, we thought we would treat ourselves to lunch from the Boston Brew Co….
- The beef burger: the patty was raw.
- The BLAT: thrown together in a box, all falling apart. Bread not toasted, tiny streak of bacon with some slimy lettuce
- the fish and chips - thrown in a box, no lemon, no tartare, just salt - very dry
- calamari - much the same, no dressing, not cooked properly and chewy.
To spend $112.00 for absolute rubbish - very disappointing.
We should have saved our money.
Extremely long wait for very ordinary food. A small order took 45 minutes. I understand it’s a busy time but please advise your customers of the wait at the time of ordering so that they can make an informed decision. The calamari - usually a fail safe menu item - was disgusting. There was no apology or even acknowledgement from the staff when we politely let them know and returned the dish. At $80 for 3 dishes we expected decent food.
All looked well, BUT they very poor effort and carefactor for service. Oh did i mention that after 30 mins they said "that will be another 15 minutes " tell people if there is a 45 min wait when you order. Then Dont even remember that you ordered a tea aswell as a shake, then after 47 mintes the food arrives- NO BACON on the bacon and egg big breakfast. Then still no tea so basically forced them to make one now. So basically get your act together IT ISNT ROCKET SCIENCE, you take order - you make order- you don't forget and then dont care and then you choose QUALITY over maximum orders then you wont get train wreck reviews.
The Best bacon and egg burger and chocolate Croissant I've ever had! Delicious coffee and friendly staff.
Popped in for lunch yesterday and had the best Caesar salad I’ve had in years, along with a delicious coffee, great service and a beach view to die for. The experience was so good took my partner along today for brunch and everything was just as good, except the sun was shining and the ocean was as beautiful as could be. What more could you ask for?
One of the worst coffees I have had. Been here 3 times now over the past year or so, and was hoping that because it has been refurbished that they may now get their coffee right, but again they totally missed the mark. Food was fine. Such a shame as it's a great location, which I guess they are trading on.
