I was using this app on my computer for last two years, since they remove the legacy version I decided to stop.the current version is terrible, confusing. Lots of unnecessary options, inaccurate monthly invoice counting. The smartphone version is even worse.the previous version was clear and quick to use, now it's a nightmare. And on top of that, today I wanted to use it, and there's a surprise because I used up the limit of invoices in the month, of course I can pay to have full access, but for what is offered, I don't even want to use it for free.

It's the best invoicing app ever. I've been using it for a few years now and have never experienced any problems.
I don't understand why some ignorant people don't know how to use it, so they leave low rating feedback. It's unfair.

I've been using Bookipi for a couple of years now.it's easy to use, it keeps me organized for tax season and it's free!

This the worst application.they lie and say you can get instant payments.but yet won't connect.then it says connection to stripe I did it.payment coming in a week from now! Garbage.that's what you are

If your looking for a free invoice app don’t use bookipi. They hold your money for 7 days even if it’s been sent instant transfer and they charge a fee to.

Bookipi deserves five star. We have been using it at @dlbookstore since 2019 and they have not disappointed us.

Has worked fine for me for over a year now. I like the new payment method. First payment took a week to clear but after that the payments has cleared 2-3 days. Great for a free app. They should offer a partial payment option as that will limit the splitting of invoices

ORIGINAL POST: It worked great for a few months. Now weird things are happening. When I send clients invoices they now show up as bunch of random, undecipherable text.pic attached. Also, invoices that I mark as paid will not show as paid in the invoices section. Also, invoices that have been read, are still showing as "unread" in the invoices section.

UPDATE:
I contacted them and they fixed the problem.

Lets just say my lawyer is getting involved. I am missing $700 because my payments never came through. Same issue as so many people have already described.

I should have done my research with this company! I needed to have an invoice app so I could send invoices out to my clients whenever so I thought this one was pretty easy to try. I used this company for the first time yesterday only to find that I would not receive the funds immediately and would have to wait for 7 days (I began to look at reviews that had the same issues but never received their funds after the 7days) so I began to get nervous. I've sent emails, chat messages but not one response. I don't think I'll be getting the money my client has paid out to me and I will have to come out of pocket for the clients order. I will be reporting them to the BBB and Accc. This is awful. Small businesses are already struggling and now we have to deal with companies like this. Extremely angry.

Please take off payment options by card without consent you are ruining peoples lives your app will start to fail due to its reviews declining!

I am absolutely FURIOUS!
ALL USERS BE WARNED, BOOKIPI ARE RESORTING TO DECEPTUVE METHODS TO ESSENTIALLY STEAL FUNDS FROM YOU.have been using this free app for a couole years and have been happy.
Was happy when they introduced veing able to text invoices as this saves me alot of.time with smaler customers.
Until.today.
Today i textt the link to the invoice as per normal.
Received msg back from.client stating she had paid.at first i thought it was odd as even tho i have never requested her to do so she always sends a screenshot of bank transfer, this time she did not.
I then hapened to check our email and had an email from. Bookipi stating out customer was requesting to pay and I had to activate stripe to get the money.
It clearly states we had 7 days to activate and that our customers card would NOT be charged!
I created a test invoice and sent to myself so. I could see first hand what our clients see.
It opens directly to page requesting card details.
Our client.whom we have built trust with didnt question this for a second and entered details without hesitation.

We havent even turned on the online paymemts function nor have we activated an account.
Bookipi does not have our account details.however my client has informed me the funds have been taken from their account.
To add to.frustrations
There is no phone number to contact Bookipi and the online chat states 2 DAYS RESPONSE TIME! WHAT A JOKE
Have also sent an email and of.course no reply.
Bookipi has no right to request card details.fr.om.our clients when we havent even activated that function.
Online.payments is.not active on our account, was not active when i sent the text and I eill.not activate it out of.principle.
Why on earth would we want to do it that way anyway, pay fees to a third party who then pays the money into our account days later when all.our clients have our bank details on record and funds are usually.available same day as transfer.
I am.so furious and will be contacting and making a formal complaint with ACCC /or the specific regulator for the industry.
They have gained funds belonging to us by deception and the fact we have no way of getting in contact with them.quickly is makimg me.doubt it was a simple mistake.

What a sham! By far the worst service I’ve dealt with in awhile. Customer service is beyond POOR! They reply when they feel like it! They tie your money up and blame you. They charge processing fees for a service you are unable to utilize and basically it’s all around trash! Run! Do not deal with this company

I like bookip for the invoice and receipts. However one of my clients paid using bookipay when I had not activated it. I've been waiting almost 8 darn weeks. This is ridiculous that don't know what's going on or where the money is. Seems as if they use a 3rd party site or host or something to handle sending the money. It's nothing but back abd forth. They can't tell me when or when I will get MY MONEY. I'm highly upset!

If I could give -STARS I would. Like I said previously the app is good for invoicing that's it. They turned on card payments WITHOUT my consent. A client paid on Sept 15th here it is 8 flipping weeks later and I do not have my payment. They are saying now the payment wasn't taken from my clients account in a timely matter. However that is a mistake on THEIR PART. You are supposed to be handling payments correct? So do your part. I do not work for free. I deserve to be paid. At this point as a company from one business owner to the other you all need to take a loss and PAY ME MY MONEY. It's your fault you turned on credit payments without my consent. Its your fault you're using a 3rd party payment gateway that clearly doesn't work properly. Pay me my money i worked for.
