Bonville Head Lookout

Lovely exceptional views. Easy to walk track. Many benches along the way to sit and enjoy the views.

Spectacular views of the ocean, mountains, beaches and creeks all from this beautiful headland! Its lovely to drive by enjoy the views, check the surf and decide which beach to go to. Stop for a while to take a walk or bring lunch and set up on one of the picnic tables provided. Then in the late afternoon kick back on a picnic blanket and watch the sun set over the mountains. This is the perfect spot for whale watching during the annual migrations.

One of the best headlands for an afternoon/ evening feed, of just to kick back and spot whales and dolphins. Cool Little Rock pool and adjoining creek Bonville creek for calmer conditions.

Loved the beach, the track and lookout.
The beach had become w-shaped by the tides, which made it unique.

Wow what a beautiful lookout to the Beach a d stairs down to the beach as well as Parking and public toilets.

This is one of my favorite places to go and sit alone to take a breath or with friends eat or just chat. In winter it's a great vantage point for setting whale and if you are lucky in the migration north you might even see one close.

A really beautiful place. There are benches to sit and enjoy the ocean, a coffee van and a very cool rock pool. Wish I took my swimming suit. There's a lot of fish in it.

Easy walking, parking and have amenities.
Don't forget to bring your swimmers, great little rockpools on the north side with the beach and then the ocean baths on the other side with beach and lake. There's seating along the track.

Such a wonderful place to spend some time. There is a pathway for you to walk, can get very windy at times.

This place has beautiful views out to the ocean. The area is well maintained with clean benches and tables in open space. Perfect for having fish and chips to tease the seagulls. The outer sittings interconnected with paved paths, great to sit to meditate and feel insignificant while watching the huge rolling waves. Keep it secret, please.

Stunning views all round! There's picnic tables where you can sit. There are also bathroom facilities close by as well. The sunsets are gorgeous here! There's also beach access with a rock pool as well. Plenty of parking as well.

Beautiful place to walk around and look at the ocean in all different directions. Sit on some of the seats surrounding the walk.

Good place to just park & watch the ocean whilst sipping a coffee.you get really good views looking back into coffs city & towards urunga. You can walk down from here to the beach if you like without too much effort. There are also a few seats to sit on facing the ocean.

Pretty nice place, worthwhile only if you were in the area visiting Sawtell. There was a wood fired pizza truck that looked pretty good the day we went. Nice little track to walk along.

Beautiful area, just attended niece's wedding there, and it was absolutely beautiful. Great walking tracks, and totally peaceful place.

Sawtell Headland is one of my favourite places I try to go most days. The scenery is just spectacular and you know it is really great when a bus load of people visited today from Port Macquarie because Port is Simply the Best! Just say'in

Lovely lookout to spend time for coffee or tea. Plenty of free parking. Toilet facilities and water refilling station.
