Bondi Icebergs POOL reviews
40Went here on December 30 and it was absolutely packed, but it was still amazing! Small fee to get in; you can rent a locker for an extra $5, which is super convenient. Towels not provided; bring your own. We just swam and did not eat at the restaurant. Pools are awesome and iconic for a reason. Everyone is friendly and chill. There is also a staircase down to the sea.
How do I write a review of this most iconic and beautiful pool? Apart from saying it’s so stunning and set right at North end of Bondi beach, with the wonderful Icebergs dining room above it, this pool has a cafe where you can have a coffee and look at the pool and the people and have a wonderful view of Bondi beach! It’s spectacular here and no amount of stars can say how stunning this place is. It’s never really busy (except the Sauna) and is just a beautiful place to be!
Absolutely beautiful, the color of the water is superb, especially in contrast to the sea.wow
Be cautious if you’re trying to take photos, we experienced hostility and rudeness from swimmers there while we were minding our own business take photos at a tourist spot. One swimmer even made the deliberate effort to canonball into the water next to my friend in order to splash her with water so we couldn’t take photos anymore. It was so unnecessary, we weren’t in his lane at all. Either that or he doesn’t know how to dive into a pool. They need swimming and etiquette lessons.
Lockers are $3, towels are $4 and entry is $9. Make sure to prepare!
Was in my bucket list to swim here and I came all the way from Kathmandu Nepal & jumped in this salty pool & did few laps. Boy did I not enjoy I loved it. The big waves splash as you swim & the views are breathtaking. Clean washrooms & safe lockers.
Best Ocean Side pool in the world. Do laps of the pool as the waves of the ocean washes over you. Serenity and relaxation as you watch the waves role in on the far lane on ur break from the laps. Very healing. Enjoy!
Love coming here for a swim after the walk from Bondi to Bronte and back. Beats the gym anyday and the cafe is great too for a quick bite and coffee.
The swimming pool location, views, and atmosphere are just amazing. Some great photos can be taken there.
Views of Bondi are also nice from the pool. I would not do swimming training there because I am not used to salty water and it is to choppy, but I would definitely go back to enjoy the views.
The Icebergs Club restaurant upstairs has more great views, but sadly lacks good food and welcoming service.
If you love swimming, then you would like swimming with beach view. Would love to go there again, whenever I am back in Sydney.
PS - this is ocean water, not the chlorine water.
These photos were taken after 5pm on a Wednesday. They start draining out the lap pool this time and that is why the pools look dirty. Also the weather was cloudy.
Overall it is a great place to do laps. Warm showers provided.
Amazing views.
Awesome location, popular especially the pool, Bondi Icebergs are local swimmers all year round. Overlooks Bondi beach. Iconic highly recommended 10/10
Bondi Beach is THE most famous beach and one of the best Australia’s famous landmarks. Located at 15min drive from Sydney city center, it’s a must if you’re in town.
The beach is known for its beautiful waves which make it a top spot for surfers, but also for its rock pools that create a unique landscape attracting all the photographers and tourists of the planet.
Once you’ve discovered Bondi, head to the Iceberg (saltwater pool) to join the walk to Coogee. This walk along the coastline will offer you beautiful views over the beaches of Tamarama and Bronte, and if you’re lucky, you might even see whales and dolphins!
Cold water swim in the salt water pool. Clean and beautiful facility with friendly service. Cafe onsite is nice. Sauna is a great facility to try after cold swim.
I went for a swim here this morning. Fantastic natural ocean pool, no man made chemicals in use. Grab a free swim any time here. Lifeguards on watch to make you feel safe.
Great to be outside again enjoying life!
Great vibe. Swimming club is the most fun and I’m so grateful and glad I joined. Love love love.
Good place to do a few laps but it cost me $9 to go for a quick dip and the customer service was pretty horrendous won’t be in a hurry to get back there.
Absolutely one of my favourite places to relax in Bondi. The main pool is stunning and there’s a separate kiddie pool. While the cafe has limited options for vegetarians the food is quite good.
I go the gym here and the pool, cafe, gym and sauna is truly one of a kind. Prices keep going up rapidly so get in quick
Quintessential place for a dip in Sydney. As a photographer, also love going here for sunrise photos.
One of a kind place in the iconic Bondi Beach, with a beautiful infinity pool, sauna and a restaurant. The pool welcomes visitors too. The water was super cold even in summer but you might love the sauna after swimming.
