Good gym, not too busy, lots of equipment though it's getting on a bit and the dumbells, barbells and some equipment handles are a bit rusty. Visited as a casual for $25 which seems to be the standard. Bring a towel.

A great gym, friendly & helpful manager + lots of class options incl reformer pilates, making it is really well priced option in Byron Bay. Thoroughly recommend.

Wouldn’t give back my deposit for my access tag back and then when I went to resign on a 3 month paid up front they tried to make me pay a second joining fee. The owner is an actual scam artist.
It’s Gyms like this that give the industry a bad name

I trained here for two casual sessions. A well equipped gym that allows you to do everything. Mostly Techno gym and Hammer Strength, good free weights section including a lifting platform with bumper plates. Very happy with the place and I will be back during any future visits to Byron.

Good gym space, 24/7, older equipment but good enough. In my estimation the main things the gym could easily fix and get much better feedback/reviews is the dated cancellation policy (5 weeks of $28.50), joining fee ($79), security tag fee ($49). The weekly membership cost is competitive, staff were friendly and if the above was more reasonable I would have given it a 5 Star review. I hope this helps others

Do not go here. The most disgusting owned gym I have ever been to that take money for everything they can with extra fee’s and refuse to give the $50 for gym tag to get in (that sometimes works) when you end your membership. No compassion for injury or circumstances!

Really unhappy with my experience with this gym. Poor communication skills and professionalism from Pauline the owner/manager.not flexible with membership holds during isolation/covid, and didn’t want to hear anything I wanted to say just kept saying to refer to debitsuccess every time I’d ask a question about settling my account. Seems like they just want your money and don’t care.
I also brought my friends along when I first signed up to try a yoga class, the instructor never rocked up and no one knew what was going on. I was warned by a friend not to join but decided to go ahead knowing it was a lot cheaper than any gyms in Byron. Never again, F45 is where it’s at.

After I canceled my membership they charged me for an additional week even after confirming the last payment date.

Also, I had to pay 59$ joining fee and 49$ for the security tag which I was told to get back once I return the tag. They won't give it to you. So it's 108$ joining fee. Keep that in mind.

Worst Gym I ever went to and Pauline is just trying to keep every single cent she can.

I do a lot of cardio so I really enjoy the large range of cardio equipment – there’s lots of machines, and they seem quite new and in good condition. They have recently had a renovation and it looks great. The gym itself is very clean and the staff are helpful. It’s definitely the biggest gym in the area and in my opinion worth the membership.

Great gym, wide range of modern equipment in good condition. Heaps of daily group classes included within the membership.

Really nice gym with working equipment but anyone wanting to use it, I suggest always wiping down the machines before and after. As not one member wipes down.

Had such a great couple of sessions this weekend while visiting! Lots of classes, good vibe and the new staff members who have just come on board are really helpful and friendly. It’s my go to place for pilates and yoga when I’m visiting from Sydney.

The staff genuinely care about your individual needs! They are so attentive and listen carefully to what your health and fitness goals are; so they can adapt a program to truly best achieve your goals!

The equipment is state of the art. The classes are made so enjoyable by the fitness instructors!

Last but not least; I love the infrared sauna; what a great way to enhance your training, improve your well being and rejuvenate after a hard day at work!

They’re a joke! They were taking money from my account randomly. The receptionist herself told me that there was something weird going on because the money I was being taking of my bank account wasn’t the price of anything on the gym. The receptionist was telling me all the time I was right and she didnt let me keep paying weekly until this was solved. My last conversation with them was about me leaving the gym which the receptionist told me it was right and that she was so sorry about my situation así saying that I should not pay for the 4 week that I have to give notice of because of the situation I went through. Now 2 months after I’m getting charged by a debt collector $350! Which is even more than the 3 months plan I was subscribed on. They are not answering the phone anymore.definitely taking them to fair trade.

I cannot give the place enough praise. The equipment is fantastic and the staff always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome! They are so friendly. The recent renovations just go to show how committed the gym is to catering to the needs of the whole community. There is heaps of parking available and the outdoor functional fitness area is amazing.

Be kind to the staff here. They are incredible to keep smiling. Stay clear of the wrestling and jiu jitsu classes unless you're ready to break a rib, tear an ACL or go see a Chiro for a neck adjustment. Very concerning!

Best trainers! Best facilities! Staff are friendly and professional. I’ve trained in Body Pump classes in a variety of cities and countries and Bodyworx is the best by far. We have so much fun!

Had a terrible experience at Byron Bay gym. The receptionist “Chris” was so rude and unprofessional - customer service trainings is needed here. I do not recommend this gym at all.
