It saddens me to write this review. I have been training at Bodyfit Miranda 5-6 days a week for numerous years now, I have loved every minute spent at this gym and every interaction with the staff and members. However a few weeks ago I started to get harassed by another member, I tried to ignore it but he continued to harass me, in the most recent incident this person approached me while I was running on the treadmill and put his middle finger in my face and abused me verbally, I went to the staff counter to explain what had happen and things got a little bit heated where I verbally stood up for myself after being approached, harassed and touched by this other member, the situation calmed down and I continued my workout. I attended the gym the following week to be told by the gym manager David Wojciechowicz that my gym membership was terminated for fighting when all I did was stand up for myself verbally after being approached numerous times by this bully. When the event happened I asked the staff to obtain a copy of the CCTV footage of him approaching and harassing me for their records and my safety incase he was to assault me again I would have the evidence to go to the Police (there was a camera was directly in front of where it happened) David refused to review the footage and kept pressing the point that this is a black and white incident. I asked for a higher managements contact details but never received a reply after emailing them, I have created many friendships at this gym for it to all be ruined by someone twice my size with a fragile ego looking for a fight. David and higher management have displayed ZERO duty of care to the me as an individual and instead just opted for a blanket fix by terminating my membership rather looking into the details of why the event happened which would clearly show the other member as the aggressor. I have always referred family and friends to this gym but after these events I can no longer do so. I would however like to thank all the other staff members for being professional and friendly during my time spent at this gym.

That’s very bad experience. I will never never come back! They just hungry for money.it’s very hard to close your account after you join with them. I got many choices for good gym club not only you. So you should improve the customer service otherwise you will lose lots of customers!

They used to be good back in 2019, now they turned horrible, management's fault.
Spa area never gets cleaned by the way.
Charging your bank account in lockdown too, shame!

Pay up you crooks! My wife taught a yoga class for you and never received payment! She has emailed you several times seeking payment and never even received a reply. It's only a small amount of money, but it's the principal.

Excellent experience and fantastic atmosphere at Bodyfit Miranda! They have a whole range of group fitness classes available, as well as good quality equipment. All staff, including management are super helpful and look after their members! Will definitely continue to train there!

The management of the gym is absolutely awful, i wouldn't recommend the place to anyone, filthy, unorganized, outdated. There are better gyms out there.

The gym is in poor conditions, never gets cleaned, pretty sure the sauna hasn't been cleaned since 2016, the manager doesn't care at all, they should change the management to save this place.

Awful customer service. I have requested and left a note on the system to put my wife's account on hold as she's stranded overseas due to covid, and I left a note to be notified before the suspension expires. Now charged without any notification. I have been trying to reach them on the phone for two weeks, nobody picks up the phone. I sent emails and git no response. It's pretty disappointing.

I train their 3 times a week. I find it excellent. All the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you.

Good facilities after they have got the new equipment and put done thought into the lay out.
Can be packed out early in the mornings and weekdays.

Great gym, this gym has everything, so no excuses not to reach your personal goals. Friendly, polite staff who are happy to help you in your training if needed. Good music and a good atmosphere to train.

Body Fit is a beautiful place to do workout and new equipment but very extremely disappointed, with the management and some staff. I wanted so badly to have the free personnel trainer time, left my details.no call or follow up, reminded them over and over again, no tour around the place, so to sum it up, in my over a month membership, I can only use treadmill as I am 53 yo, single mom, the only support for my two lovely CHILDREN, i have to be careful using heavy equipment, as kids need me, now got booted out with a Giant Company with no apparent valid reason, I need a letter of proof that I visit Body Fit most or all my working Days at Newly opened Mintd Dental Hygiene Studio. I pray this time you will do the right thing by me.it's a proof that inspite all the emotional and physical pressures of moving to a new place, selling our much loved house once called a home, working six days a week, I am mentally and physically fit. I lost over 15 kilos and having the Body Fit protein drink after or before is Heaven. ATVM I'm missing having my favourite Blueberry Coconut Drink. God bless you and management need to improve and more so the phone convo etiquette.too rough on the edges.

Not a fan.

I have tried to cancel my membership several times, both in person and on the phone, with massive pushback.

I was due to call back and cancel again just before COVID as it would be a smaller amount charged, however, 1 week off my call date they closed. Fair enough, not their fault, however, I have now been charged more than a weeks rate even though I emailed asking for this to be cancelled a week before.

I never received a call or email confirming or asking to discuss. I have now been told to go talk to the 3rd party company that deals with payments to find out my end date. I know for a fact that the gym can see my end date as I have had other members confirm it.

I have informed Bodyfit that I am on a reduced wage and that I cant have payments coming out, especially when I have emailed asking for it to be cancelled. There was no response to that statement in their email. They do not care about their members. Only the money.

I went to the gym with my wife as a guest visitor and the facilities were good to train on (bathrooms a bit messy). The customer service however is horrible, my wife has lost her job and moved to QLD due to Covid; their contract states in the T&C's that the membership can be cancelled at any time with mutual agreement yet staff have shown no empathy for my wife's situation whatsoever even though their own contract allows for termination.

We try calling every couple of days to talk to the manager and get told they're out and will call back as soon as they get in, or are in a meeting - calls have not once been returned and this has been going on for months now. Have sent emails to all of their teams they've directed us too and are still waiting.

Would not recommend a gym like this with such difficult contracts. It's 2020, there's many gyms that offer friendly contracts as they're understanding that life changes for their members - Bodyfit is not an understanding gym.
