18Highly rate Body Shape Gordon! I have been coming for years; the best thing about it is the "Kids Club" where I am able to bring my 2 small children and train myself - my daughter especially loves the friendships she has made. Staff are so caring and absolutely fantastic with my kids!
I love bodyshape. My fav place to workout and staff are friendly. My fav class is spin by Anita.
Love everything about the gym. The classes are all excellent with dedicated instructors who know their trade.
The best fitness centre ever. I love that there are so many classes to choose from so you can mix cardio and weight training. My personal fav is small group class which pushes you to your limit. Staff are super friendly.

I have been a member of Body Shape Gordon for many years and love everything about my gym. The management and staff are incredibly caring and helpful, and they offer heaps of classes.
I have always felt comfortable in this female only fitness centre and have made many friends there.

Absolutely love this gym! Very clean and staff are professional but also so personal and lovely.
Avoid this place! You have to set your alarm on 7am every morning in order to book a class as soon as it shows up on the app or you could end up paying membership for nothing!
Absolutely love this gym! Super clean and staff are so professional but also so personal and lovely. My kids adore the crèche staff and always look forward to coming to the gym with me. Classes are fun and suit any level and there is never a wait to use equipment. Cannot say enough good things about this gym!
I joined this gym last August based on a recommendation from my mother’s group. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience from signing up, to using the crèche for my 2 kids and doing a 6 week fitness challenge. The class instructors are great, the facilities are never crowded and it is very affordable (especially if you’re using the crèche). I would happily recommend this gym to any female.
Rasist staff refused Chinese customers to go into the gym.
This is discrimination!
There are many other good gyms in Sydney, don't go this one.
Excellent gym with a great diversity of both members and instructors. There are many lovely ladies of Chinese descent as well as other nationalities. All ladies are welcome

I am disgusted at the way I was spoken to and treated when cancelling my gym membership due to my studies. I had every intention of signing back up when finished, but after a few phone calls I have had with Simone, that will not be happening.
When cancelling my gym membership, I was told multiple different things by 2 -3 different people. When I signed my cancellation form in person, my key card was taken away from me immediately. Therefore, I was under the impression it was an immediate cancellation.
I wasn’t told about a 30-day notice. I was only told I needed to pay $100 to cancel. No one could give me a straight answer when asking when or how much I would be billed for my cancellation. All staff should be trained in the cancellation process to ensure there are no miscommunications.
I spoke to Simone, who was extremely passive-aggressive towards me and quite honestly just rude. When asking Simone when I would receive confirmation of my cancellation and what date this would happen, her response was “when you’re in the big real-world things don’t happen imminently. ” What type of response is this when I just asked a simple question. You are taking money from me, and it is my right to know this answer.
Not only did Simone speak down to me about my age but also laughed at my questions. I simply asked, “what will my last billing be and when? ” And she responded with a giggle and “is that your question? ” An unbelievable response from someone who is seen as a professional.
I also asked for confirmation of my cancellation as I had received no paperwork for this. I was again laughed at and told in a rude manner that I would receive a text. When asking when I would receive this text, I was again laughed at.
There were many more rude comments made, not only to me but also my other friend who was also trying to cancel her gym membership.
I can't speak for all the staff as I have met some lovely people who work there. But I can say Simone who I believe is the owner is highly unprofessional. If myself as a member has been spoken to in this way, I can only imagine how the staff are spoken to behind closed doors.
A simple apology would have done it, but In the end, I was the one being blamed and attacked for the staff's miscommunications and lack of knowledge on the cancellation processes.
It’s a cheaper price range for the gym membership, but I guess in hindsight, you get what you pay for. Not once did I receive a thank you for coming to our gym or a good luck with my studies. As an all-women gym, we should be building each other up, not tearing each other down with rude, unnecessary and highly unprofessional comments and remarks. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.
Unfortunately i had to cancel my membership due to going overseas and the process to cancel had so many complications. I wasn't treated in a great manner and didn't make me feel like I wanted to return after I came back.
I love the atmosphere and community at Body Shape. The classes are really fun, great instructors!
Overall, gym and class experience been good, a couple times where I can’t get parking. 2 star ratings as the cancellation process was poorly handled and left bitter experience. First, they over charged by a week and when I raised it, I was blamed for not reading their sms confirmation. Then she tried to refund less than what I should get. As a customer, I expect an organisation to do the right thing and charged per contract, not up to me to police it. If mistake is made, fix it instead of trying to make excuses or blame your customer.
