Bluebird Psychology is a wonderful institute that does great work in the ADHD community. I recently completed my work experience in this place and I have felt extremely invited and cared for during my placement.

Even with a week, I have learnt a lot of valuable skills and information about psychology and insight into being a psychologist, which is important to the quality of their work. The team have a wide range of therapy skills for a variety of people so that people can get the treatment they need. With their patience and neurodivergent affirming attitude, the team has been able to help many people.

I would highly recommend their services and I thank them for their kindness during my work placement.

I'd rate 0 stars if I could. James is the most unhelpful person I have ever met. Biggest waste of $300 of my life. Snapchat AI provides better therapy than James, I can't decide which is more robotic out of the two (it's probably James). All reviews on here are fake except the other one star. Do not go here you are wasting your time and money. If you are going here do not see James.

Unequivocal 5 stars. Bluebird is everything a mental health practice should be - a warm and genuine approach to wellbeing
that is evidence-based and person-centred.

I've just yesterday finished my student placement at Bluebird, and I feel so fortunate to have done so! This place is the real deal and I'm sad to be moving on.

Over the last couple of months I was able to get to know the team really well. Long story short, they're fabulous. I can attest to the outstanding character quality of the director Joanna, who is as incredibly fun, kind and caring as she is proficient in her practice. This is important because Joanna has gathered a team of exceptional clinicians who are of this same quality - they're highly skilled, they genuinely care, and they're actually just lovely people.

If you haven't already, check out the Bluebird website or even the facebook page to get a bit of a feel for this.

The team have a range of different styles of therapy and areas of expertise, as well as different personalty styles themselves. This allows Bluebird to work with a huge range of people - and the front desk staff (who are also delightful) do a very impressive job of matching people with a clinician that suit them well.

Highly recommend this practice.

Also worth noting theyre doing awesome work in the ADHD community.

I hate to be this person but i feel no one should go through what i went through.
I will not explain in depth as it is personal but when i went to see James the psychologist and had 2 sessions with him and felt that i wasn’t getting the right treatment from him so i went to changed over to Sarah (on the website it has that she specialises in all the things i need) When James found this out he called me and told me i could not change over and i had to keep seeing him because of a fake diagnosis he gave me from 2 sessions with me. He said he was the only person who could help with this fake diagnosis. When i asked for the reason of this diagnosis as my psychiatrist of 2-3 years who has more experience than him has never diagnosed me with this, He could not come up with a reason.
The only reason he could come up with is because of how i look. I have never felt more judged and manipulated in my life. I told Joanna Bailey the Director about this issue and the email response i got back was not genuine. These people are supposed to help people and make them feel comfortable but all they did to me is make me feel judge and worse about my appearance and about myself.
If you’re reading this and thinking about going here, all i ask is for you to be careful and do not let them do this to you.

Joanna and her team are highly skilled, warm and compassionate clinicians for whom working in a neuroaffirmative practice is a key strength.
