We never before have left a bad review for a business. However our experience with Blue Clean was extremely poor. We paid $407 for a post renovation clean of a 2 bedroom unit and it was an appalling experience. Floors were mopped and rather than removing white dust from wall drilling it was moved around leaving white residue on the floor boards. No surfaces of kitchen, bathroom or furniture were cleaned at all. And the cleaner took a personal item which was later returned at our request. We couldn’t do the guarantee clean at the time it was offered as we were going away and they agreed to reschedule when we got back. When we returned and asked to reschedule they refused to do so saying it was outside the guarantee period.

Very disappointed with the service I received. I opted for a deep clean to which the outcome was sub standard. Not only was the cleaner very late (I had to reschedule to later in the day) to work around their delay but they spoke no English whatsoever and this was very disappointing as I couldn't communicate when they arrived. This also left be feeling nervous to leave this person in my home unattended. There was a very high fee charged ($242 AUD) for one living area and two small bathrooms. The booking online form is deceptive and purposely presented in this manner to add every room (even in a small apartment). I recommend you do not use this service if you are based in the Eastern Suburbs.

Hired this company for a rug clean and their cleaner severely damaged a brand new coffee table. Nobody else had been in the apartment except for their cleaner. When I approached the company to take responsibility they denied and told me to contact ACCC which I will be doing. Their responses are very templated - this clearly happens a lot. Would not recommend if you don’t want your things damaged.

I usually never leave bad reviews as most business owners can reach a resolution if their customers have a bad experience. Unfortunately, I used Blue Clean after a recommendation from a Facebook group for an end of lease clean and received sub-standard service at best.

We had a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment clean booked for 2 hours. The kitchen and bathroom were the only areas thoroughly cleaned. The list of issues include:
1. The floors were not mopped properly,
2. Wall cleaning is NOT included (areas of the wall had cobwebs / marks which could have been easily cleaned with 1 wipe! It did not require a “wall wash”),
3. Window coverings are NOT included (they said over the phone Venetian blinds are not included, however apparently ALL blinds are not included), 4. They will not clean ANY mould, even though on their website they do seem to clean mould but only “small areas”.

All of these areas could have been cleaned with little to no effort, instead the cleaners left without notifying us that they were finished. It’s unfortunately misleading when you pay $475 for a 2 bedroom apartment assuming these little bits and pieces will be included. This resulted in us going and doing it ourselves as they would only clean the range hood that was left greasy. Like some other customers, they unfortunately rely on “terms and conditions” to refuse giving a partial refund, and insist on sending another cleaner to correct issues. This doesn’t always work if there are other tenants due to move in! Be careful if you are booking a clean as MANY things are not included!

I paid $700+ for deep clean and BBQ clean and nothing was deep about their service, it was worse than general cleaning, they only cleaned the easy surface, missed out many spots, the workers were not well trained and clueless. BBQ cleaning was a joke. What a waste of time and money

My advice is if you are thinking of booking this company to clean your house.just do it yourself. I had a cleaner stay for 2 hours so basically $100 an hour it cost. They just Hoovered the floors really and wiped down the kitchen.didn't wipe the kitchen tile area properly.didn't move the toaster so there were crumbs still.didnt wipe any any other area of the house. I can do a better rjob myself. I'm pregnant and have visitors coming and I'm cleaning after this company has cleaned.its just ridiculous and theyre just full of excuses. Save your money. Go elsewhere. They are sending me links to the website. I'm a grown woman I know whenI ive been ripped off and when someone has been lazy cleaning my house. Also left their dirty cleaning cloths behind.seriously

This is the 2nd time I have used Blue Clean. Viviana the cleaner did a thorough job and I was very happy with the result. Miguel is very organized and professional and I am going to continue using Blue Clean to help me with my AirBNB. It is very important as a host to have a cleaning company you can rely on.

Absolutely terrible service, the cleaning was terrible and they did not take the opportunity to rectify the situation. I had money taken from my bond for items they did not clean, another cleaner easily got the stains out.
The customer service was also terrible and extremely rude.
Below before and after pictures of the sink, after is when another cleaner came.

I used them for my end of lease clean where they did a very good job except the floors, which still had a few easy to scrub off marks on them (see image using a simple wipe). So I had to scrub some things myself after the clean, not ideal but I was impressed with the balcony and everything else that was done. I booked them again for a deep clean as our current new place was not at the required standards when we moved in and paid $120 for a 1 hr clean (which is by far the most i've ever paid for a cleaner) and the windows and window sils were not even cleaned, so I had to do them myselves. The cleaner was iniitially 3hrs late also and worked really fast, so maybe was in a rush to get to another appointment.

You guys will be my first port of call for any cleaning-related service from now on. Reasonable rates, responsive communication and totally reliable. Delays, cancellations, inexperienced staff arriving with inadequate equipment for the job, poor handling of window fittings and fly screens, not good value for money. End result was fairly ordinary for the price. Wouldn't recommend to my friends and family.

I booked an end of lease clean - 5 weeks in advance. Two days prior the times and dates were changing around and the price went up from $384 - $572 for a 1.5 bed, 1.5 bathroom house even though I described exactly what was required on the day well in advance. They decided that because there was an "upstairs" it would therefore cost more. Do not use.

Do not waste your time or money! I booked Blue Clean for a post renovation clean. The description on the website was extensive and was exactly what was needed. The clean was dismal. There was dust in the corners of the rooms, sticky tape marks on the floor, windows not cleaned - still dusty and the glass dirty. Paint drips on the floor and windows. The tiled floors were not even mopped. The carpeted rooms were vacuumed, but still visible paint chips/plaster. I ran my hand across the floor and it was covered in a layer of dust. I paid more to have the internals of every cupboard cleaned - not one cupboard or drawer in the kitchen was cleaned. I complained and the same cleaner arrived the next day just to mop the floors. He left without cleaning anything when I told him he needed to do more than just the mopping. I complained to the company but was still charged the full amount and told to complain to Fair Trading. Very disappointing when I am about to move into my newly renovated home. Please save yourself the hassle and disappointment, if you are after a post renovation clean - look elsewhere for a cleaner.
