Maj is the best hairdresser in that place. It’s a shame all of the OG workers have left. If you do go there I recommend requesting her. I’ve done my hair with her for over a year now and has never disappointed me or my family.

Naja and the team here are amazing, from the beginning Naja got my colour spot on and her bouncy blowouts are to die for!

Very rude staff, there is a girl named Naja she kicked my wife out and is very rude. She talks about all her customers in front of people and makes fun of them.

Very disappointing very upset by the girl who work there by name Naga her behaviour is not acceptable horribly that rude and abusive if that hapen 1 more time i will have to involve help by security rather than that I'm ok

Rude staff wished i looked at the reviews before coming now i understand why it’s so low.went in for a trim the people working were so so rude and uninterested when i walked in asking for a trim, when i sat down the lady started asking how much i wanted a trim i told her just a little to cut my dead end and she end up cutting heaps off! Another issue is when i sat down the people working started speaking fo each other and just as she was about to trim my hair she walked off and spent 15 minutes with someone else, when she walked back didn’t even apologies or say anything for walking off and just started cutting would not recommend at all they all seem up tight

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I went into get just a full colour and blowdry - which is initially $55. I sat down and had my sister next to me. One of the juniors came and fiddled with my hair and said quietly “okay let me get you a quote” before walking over to some guy with lip fillers ruining some ladies hair. When she came back she told me “okay so it’s $75” I’m like “how”? She actually said to me “I don’t know”. She went back to the guy with lip fillers and he seemed very annoyed that I refused to pay and extra $20 for no reason. The girl came back and agreed back to $55. As she was about to mix my colour the male with lip fillers came and told my sister to get out of the shop as his chairs are for clients only. My sister politely asked where else she could sit he then replied in the most arrogant way “i don’t care anywhere but here leave”. After I heard this I took my apron off and walked out. He was the most unprofessional kind of person I’ve ever seen in this industry, has no customer service skills at all and whoever hired him CLEARLY doesn’t care about the reputation they hold. I wish I could rate it 0.

I had a wonderfull experience with maj! I was very excited for my hair and She had given me that wonderfull satisfying look, provided me a hijab room which was very convenient for me, would highly highly recommend Maj! She is very polite, highly professional with always dealing with a smile…! This was my first visit at blondes and brunette and has no regrets… thanks to the complete staff, very good and friendly staff.

My wife had horrible experience at this salon. Absolutely rude staff. The Asian lady was absolutely rude and impatient. My wife was told a different price when she enquired but during the hair cut the price was doubled. Absolutely atrocious behaviour. Would not recommend to anyone.

Vary bad service, I went to get my hair cut, when I sat on the chair she said to me that I have to do wash and straighten my hair before the hair cut, just theft ، they want to get as much money as they can before you leave the shop,
Just be carful every one from their trick, I ended up paying $40 instead of $25 for an ugly hair cut.
Normally when you go any hair salon they ask you if you want wash your hair or no, but in this shop it’s compulsory and you must pay them.

My sister and I came in for a haircut yesterday and the hairdresser (lady with long dark hair) did not have a single care in the world. What was meant to be a simple straight cut and short, turned out to be the biggest disaster. She did not wet our hair before cutting (which didn't help the fact that my sister had her hair in a bun so it was wavy, which makes me wonder how the hairdresser is able to cut straight across with her hair in all lengths from the waves), did not comb through after to check if it was uneven, didn't even clip our hair and cut in layers, just grabbed a chunk and snipped aimlessly and carelessly through. I asked for below shoulder length and got above meanwhile my sister asked for collarbone length and got chin length! Absolutely terrible service with no care given. When we got home and washed it, it was very obvious how uneven one side was to the other, with long hair strands dangling in other places. Save your money and go elsewhere, I cannot believe how this "hairdresser" thinks she is actually qualified for this job when she cannot even get the basics right.

This is the worst hair dressing salon I’ve been too. Since they change owners they have the worst hair dressers that ever lived. They just sit around & smoke vapes all day they don’t care about your needs & are very loud & rude, they made a bad mistake on my girlfriends hair & they didn’t even want to fix it & when they tried too she still left the salon disappointed. We’ll never use this salon again & I highly recommend you to find another salon as I promise you that you will be disappointed.

Save your money and do not go here! I went in for a haircut and asked to shorten it to my collarbone and instead got a lopsided cut with one side just above the chin and the other close to the bottom of my ear. She just took out my bun and held down my dry frizzed out hair and hacked into it. I mentioned it looks way shorter than the collarbone and she said when you wet it, it should reach the collarbone. Within minutes she had done a few big snips was done and didn’t check whether it’s was even, didn’t thin out the heaviness on one side as I requested and just said no. I doubt she has any qualifications and had zero care for the damage she did to my hair which now I’ll have to wait months to grow out so I can go elsewhere and get it fixed. On top of that she tried to upsell me an extra $125 to do a Keratin treatment. Avoid this place at all cost.

I am a regular at Blondes and Brunettes (Miranda) and have never been disappointed with my hair outcome. I tried Blondes and Brunettes Bankstown and was so disappointed with my service from a Chinese lady who did my hair. Rude, Unprofessional, Argumentative. After telling her I usually get a full head of foils which covers my regrowth never need anything else (only light regrowth) she tried to tell me she couldn’t do that unless I paid another $100 ontop for back to back foils which I don’t require, then once completing said oh wow your hair actually does catch to the colour well I did only need to do a full head. Did my foils in the wrong direction, Tried to overcharge me by $100 after ide already had a quote done in store 5 minutes prior by another kind lady, Rough, Pulled my hair, Drenched me at the Basin and then tried to tell me it looks great after completing ruining my hair, I have lines of dye in all sorts of directions on the top of my head and because she did the foils in the wrong direction (she assumed I wear a side part even tho she brushed my hair back from my middle part I always have it in) and it looks like my regrowth is still there now. The lady next to me was also quite unsatisfied with how rude the Chinese lady was being to her, telling her that her hair sample from last time (exact same colour as her current colour) couldn’t be done only just her regrowth (because it was busy), then telling her her hair would look better if she did straightening treatment after the lady told her she loved her curly hair, once again trying to make everyone pay so much more than they came in for and adjusting their set prices even though it says for any length and thickness.
Never have I ever had this experience and I will definitely be going back to Miranda and definitely not Bankstown.

The manager hasn't heard of discussion, and some of the workers haven't heard of customer service. Rudest and WEIRDEST staff. Never again!

Had to ask to wash my hair after 10 minutes of BUZZER going offfff… Got hair washed & walked out without cut or blow dry

I had a lovely keratin treatment done by Jade. She was sweet and professional and really knew her stuff. Both the ladies that worked on me were wonderful. I'm so happy to have found my new favourite local!

This is for the guy, who is dealing in reception on phone. I been this place before for my hair appointment she was lovely and now when I was trying to book another appointment he didn't clearify anything he was so rude and hang up my phone.

Inferior service and doesn’t worth the money; I asked for a haircut, but she cut and did not even wet or dry the French so that I could tell if the style had been done. Usually, I ask for a haircut at any other shop; they even ask if I want to wash the hair; if not, they wet it so they’re can divide it and know the length correctly; they cut and dry it quickly, not perfectly to show the overall look, and if I am happy or not, they did not do anything. I paid more than I pay to any other shop, I don’t fight or argue because people can be vulgar, and I know if someone becomes rude, I would make him regret it and even complain about them and video them. Still, I wouldn’t say I like to do that only when it is very insulating. Anyway, never recommend them. And I did not ask to hair dryer because they will ask for overt than 50 extra just to style it, and I am not in need for it, only need haircut.

Yes its great busy place and you can afford to have a ME DAY. And still walk out having change in your pocket. To have a nice lunch to finish off your Me Day. I live in Newtown but travel out every 6 weeks for my Me Day.
