I highly recommend the team at Blinds-n-Shutters Newcastle for anyone wanting to purchase blinds, shutters or curtains. They were great to deal with, friendly, professional & efficient. We decided to upgrade our sliding doors from Panel glides to Sheer curtains. Helen was very helpful & gave us some great advice on colour coordination and selection. Peter our installer was very friendly & a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone in the Newcastle, Hunter and Port Stephens area.

I’m not usually one to leave a review, particularly a bad one but in this situation I couldn’t not make other customers aware. My husband and I dealt with Helen from Thornton branch regarding installation of sheer blinds in our lounge room. We placed the order in early October with a 4 week estimation for installation. Helen measured and check measured the blinds but unfortunately her measurements were wrong and left us with curtains that were short in both length and width. Despite the installers recognizing there was an issue with their size they installed them onto the wall anyway, knowing they would have to be removed and corrected. As a result we were left with holes in our walls that had to be patched and painted. The company arranged for that to occur however that was at our own expense as we had to supply the paint and under coat for the repair to take place. We contacted Helen to organise a new date for installation at which time she advised she could not provide a new installation date. We had paid our deposit at the start of October, incorrect blinds were fitted at the end of November and in mid February the incorrect blinds were removed with no new installation date offered other than to say our blinds were “on the factory floor somewhere”. This was simply not good enough after waiting nearly 5 months for simple curtains to be made and installed. We cancelled our order after we could not be assured a new date of installation and due to Helen’s rude customer service towards us for a mistake she had caused. Please note all the good reviews for this company are quite dated! Don’t waste your time or money unless you really are prepared to wait and wait for your blinds.

A pleasant expeirence from start to finish. On time. Regular update on installation date. And proffessionaly installed by great tradesman. A nice product.

Very happy with the advice I was given when planning my outdoor blinds and shutters. The installer was very particular and he did a very neat and well fitted job despite a couple of not so square walls. Definitely would recommend.

We had a minor issue & it was dealt with quickly & without any bother unlike some other companies where you have to continuously chase up to have work rectified.

I recently engaged the team to conduct a quote, measure and install of new roller blinds throughout our home whilst interstate, and the process was seem less.
