Absolutely love this gallery. A true Newcastle gem. Owners are so friendly, professional and prompt in their responses! I love the two pieces I've purchased through here and look forward to more workshops and events.

Lovely art gallery at 470 Hunter Street, Newcastle. A new exhibition each month featuring Newcastle's established and upcoming artists. Each Exhibition features an opening night/afternoon with great food and drinks!

Blackstone Gallery is a haven for new and established artists alike. If anything we need more galleries to be opened up around the country by Marguerite and Tim to truly give artists the opportunities they so deserve.

A brilliant space with owners who truely care about their artists and bringing new talent to the town. Well worth a drop in, changes the hangings so regularly you need to be quick to catch it all.

Fraudulently advertised a call for exhibitors as an "art prize". They're out and out crooks and highly malicious. Arts practitioners should avoid them like the plague.

Blackstone Gallery harbours a range of artists, and host interesting and well curated exhibitions. They're in a Beautiful location easily accessible on public transport and walking distance from the Newcastle Museum and waterfront views on wharf road.
The highlight of the gallery had to be the friendly accommodating staff who are always willing to have a chat. 100% recommend dropping in and perusing the beautiful space.

I was one of the first artists having an exhibition at Blackstone gallery and I can say it was a lovely experience. Tim and Marguerite are true professionals from the very beginning after opening their doors. In my 25 years as an artist I have worked with a lot of galleries, but Blackstone is one of the best. I have nothing than praise for their dedication and patience and collaboration with the artists.
