Blacksmith

Very good breakfast and coffee. We grabbed the eggs benny, and the breakfast burger.

The food was fantastic! The service was super friendly and fast and the cafe decor of an old blacksmith is really cool. Will be back again.

Surprising and comfortable space fitting the Blacksmith name. Great staff, excellent juices/smoothies and tasty food. I'd love to have an event here as it's got both a cafe and bar feel if they start doing functions again.

Fantastic spot close to Central, with a rustic blacksmith decor that runs all the way from the doors to the teapots!

The food was fantastic! Standard Australian breakfast fare but with a few twists along the way. They also managed to serve a table of 15 without issue which is no mean feat.

Coffee was also delicious, with great latte art. Again they were serving a lot of people so this was great to see.

Service was friendly and efficient (or at least as efficient as they could be for a party as large as ours).

Howvere, the breakfast is basic and average with some Asian twists.
The coffee taste wasn't also what I expected from a rustic cafe. In general, for me, it is not a place to go back again.

Acai free Acai bowl. They claim a full brick was used and yet there is no acai taste or colour at all. A bland oat bowl.
The wait staff were fairly nice but offered no help. The kitchen lady takes no pride in her job. Directly stated that she put "a lot" of acai in, yet there was no taste

Horrible place. Made us wait for half n hour and we did not even end up getting our Lattes. Very poor service

Nice interior and atmosphere but Bit expensive food as well less quantity. We paid 50 dollar and still hungry. Not happy ️

The breakfast (bircher muesli) and coffee were very good. The table and stool I sat on outside were a bit uncomfortable. They've gone with a decor theme strongly which has meant they've sacrificed comfort a tad. The waiter was friendly and prompt. I'd go again.

I love coming here for coffee, they make a really nice one and the staff are always so lovely. They also make a great banana smoothie. I've mostly had breakfast here and I typically go for the avo and feta toast or the jalapeno scrambled eggs on a wrap. Simple, not too large and very tasty. The breakkie burger has heaps of bacon. Blacksmith has lots of indoor seating, good for groups of most sizes. Love the blacksmith theme, place is very cool.

Feels like you're in the heart of the Industrial Revolution. Amazing decor and good food. Bit slow on Saturdays.

Nice place, big area so you have space with other people, very nice brunch and chai latte. The decoration and style are cool, friendly staff.

Always a good experience at Blacksmiths - good quality food that is well priced and also looks after vegetarians - very well priced - food service time can be a little slow but made up for by the pleasant and efficient counter and floor staff. Highly recommended.

Worse customer service experience. I waited 5 mins to order a coffee and a toastie.so far I have waited other 20 mins for a toastie.still not here.where is my take away! Will not come back!

These days to many big breakfast are half a plate this was a true meal left me feeling full

Me and my partner got a side of the deliciously crisp yet soft beer battered fries we couldn't finish them. And normally im a big eater

Upper price but honestly for food this good it was worth it

Love the place, the industrial ambiance is very well laid out. The stools, seats, tables and even the spoons gives that industrial design which I love. Food is really good too esp their chicken Katsu tacos which were surprisingly good. It’s a bit overpriced and our coffees arrived after our food which was a bit of a downer.

Fantastic cafe. Food is mixed with a bit of Asian fusion which is fantastic. Staff and very attentive and friendly as well. Decor also looks amazing with in the cafe. All the food looks amazing. The dishes my friends have had with me love them. Which I look forward to trying as well. I’m a die hard eggs Benedict fan. It’s a must try here, if you’re a fan as well. The pulled pork with the kimchi rosti is fantastic! Coffee is also very good here.
