Final piece of the puzzle. To say a house sale is stressful is an understatement particularly as an individual. I knew the second I walked into the apartment I purchased I was desperate to call it home. I expressed the trouble I have had in finding a place and the many disappointing outcomes I have been through. I was really losing hope and drive to purchase until I found this place and Alex couldn't have been more understanding and on my side. Of course, selling is about making the sellers happy, but the true care she has shown towards me made me feel like she was on my team too! Both James & Alex answered all communication from me so promptly and James even arranged a time for me to come and get my dream sold sign photo, something he certainly did not have to do but I am extremely grateful for.

Overall these too are a dream team and I will certainly be using them when the time comes for me to sell.

Rented with this company for 5 years and didn't have much of a problem until we vacated recently. Hence the 2 stars. Inspections every 3 months, which we passed consistently while we were paying the rent. High staff turnover, we went through at least 4 agents while we lived there and the last one we had was abysmal. She seemed most unimpressed that we cleaned the property ourselves, rather than engage the services of a professional cleaner on the "recommended" list. She found fault with the most ridiculous things, ignored written confirmation of facts that didn't serve her purpose, was only contactable by email and ignored verbal and written requests for further information/explanation. She demanded payment for a third professional clean of depreciated carpet before she would authorize the refund of our bond. We were left feeling frustrated, intimidated, harassed and unfairly targeted and we attempted to find a solution. We were told by this agent that the matter would be referred to NCAT, if we did not settle the invoice. We did not pay the invoice and at the 11th hour our bond was refunded, in full, without any further correspondence from this agent. We are most disappointed in the actions of this agent and the distress we felt during this process. Never again will we deal with this company. At a time when the rental market is so expensive and so competitive, I wonder if others have felt the pressure to jump through ridiculous hoops to keep a roof over their head.

I had moved into the property when it was being managed by the previous property managers. While I was a bit apprehensive when the new management took over, my concerns were alleviated when I interacted with Kersten.

Kersten was always available, very understanding and responsive to my requests/questions. Through the trying times of the pandemic, she handled the scheduled online inspections with care and with admirable attention to detail. In person, she was polite and came across as being highly competent in her job. She has handled my occupancy with finesse and competency and that included arranging for the full refund of my Security Bond.

In my opinion, she is a real asset for Blackshaw.

I hope in the future if and when I am looking to rent, I have the opportunity to work with her.

Seeing its a sellers market and there aren't many homes available at the moment one would think that any agency would be keen for your business. If you're looking to sell, avoid this place, the receptionist, Sue I believe, definitely needs some lessons in customer service. Straight up rude, condescending and disrespectful. Happy for another agency to get the commission for the sale of my place.
