Completely unprofessional and a waste of time
Edit: I actually have no issue with not getting the property so let me elaborate on why I rated black property 1 star.
After looking at the property, we applied in person with Lauren, despite the issues with the apartment, such as the paint peeling from the walls, the stained carpets and the dead cockroaches.
We were then told we’d hear back the following Monday. After not hearing back from black property we tried calling 4 times over the course of that week, each time it rang out and we didn’t receive a call back. One of our rental references even contacted the owners of the building (they’re neighbours) because they wanted to know why they hadn’t been contacted for their referral and why black property didn’t return any of their calls. After going back and forth and having black property ignore us we found out that even though they had our information on file they lost our application and never contacted us to fix things up. After being told to reapply online we took the time out of our work day to resubmit, we were then declined within the hour. Not getting the property wasn’t the issue. Being treated poorly and being borderline ignored as-well as our references while claiming to be good at your job when you did not once met the expectations of your job title is why I rated you 1 star. So before you make it out like I’ve left a one start review out of pettiness, treat your clients with respect or at the very least learn professional customer courtesy.

Been renting with them for 3 years, just moved out (which is when you usually see property managers true colours!) Lauren was kind, courteous and fair with the entire process. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and will be using them for myself with future investment properties. Its rare to see a company that treats renters with such respect and they were a real pleasure to deal with throughout.

Very unprofessional! Paul and his team did not look after our property properly causing us huge damages and loss.

They failed to transfer all the council and rates notices to their agency causing us missed full year payments and got $5000 interest and legal penalty payments from council. We were never invited to any inspections and found out during final inspection that all timber floors had heavy scratches from moving furnitures or animals, carpets have multiple stains and strong dog or human urine smell, external wall, swimming pool and washing lines, water taps, sliding doors were all severely damaged and unusable, missing swimming pool items, garage remotes and fences, the property was not cleaned and full of dead cockroaches.

We informed them immediately and provided before and after photos but was told all those are wear and tear and can not deduct from the bond, not even a professional cleaning service… we fixed everything with a cost over $20k and never think to do long term rental again.

It was so great to deal with Paul. I had my property to lease with another agent for 6 weeks and was not able to get a tenant. Paul put it on the ad on Thursday and by Sat they had so many ppl turned up and got a tenant by Monday. He's helped me arrange all the plumbers/handyman to fix the place with competitive quotes. I would definitely recommend the Black Property Central Coast. Thanks again Paul.

Instead of false promises, Paul had a pragmatic approach and his advice was always invaluable, which personally made a huge difference with making certain decisions. Once again nothing was ever too difficult, every request was handled with charm.
