BL Burgers reviews
55Great burgers with a wide menu and list of adds on to all options. Love coming here for the burgers but that is also a downside as I don’t believe you can get a beer here even though it is fit for it. The wings are great and I highly recommend the chicken burgers. Chips are good even as the fries style. Usually easy to grab a seat but they are all high chairs. Central Oxford street location near public transport stops. I’ve been a few times to BL Burgers so it’s definitely a recommendation.
The quality has really gone down. I used to visit the circular quay flagship years ago and everything used to be on point. This was my second time at the Darlinghurst location and the quality was terrible. The Blame Canada was excessively salty and made us feel sick afterwards. Only one person serving. $4.50 for a can of sprite and $20 for just a burger. Very overpriced.
Totally beats the five guys with the taste of the Burger, particularly with the bun and the patty! The chips was so yum! It is hot, crispy and tasty!
It's our mate's favourite burger joint for their one and only Blame Canada burger. He's hyped it up over the years and that despite it being greasy, he craves for it. We absolutely enjoyed it, maybe we eat of a lot of greasy foods as part of our diet because we did not think it was overloaded with oils as advertised. Would recommend and go again. The shoestring fries were exceptional too.
Always love BL burgers. You can never go wrong with the blame Canada burger. Always a favourite
Great burger place and never dissapoints! Service was great but during peak hours could be abit busy which is normal.
Blame Canada burger is still one of the best in the world but their weekly specials as eels are also great
Delicious burgers. Blame Canada is the highlight with crispy maple bacon and poutine ($19). The Mr-T truffle burger is okay - the mushroom gets the bun all wet and soggy and the truffle flavour is quite light ($19). Fries are crispy, hot and had good dusting of seasoning. Service was friendly and quick. A fair number of tables and bar stools available for seating. Food quality consistent with the original bar Luca but without the long wait or difficulty finding a seat.
It’s been 3 years since I had a BL burger, back in the day, the patty used to thick and pink the inside… they even had in their menu “we like our paddy’s pink” well… the pattys are now thin with minimum flavour, it’s safe to say that I don’t consider BL to have the burgers anymore - now I’m back on hunt for a new burger place
Mac daddy was tasty AF but was a mission to finish. The missus was all over the shroom burger even though she usually poopoo's the oyster mushrooms (prefers the big fried portobellos).
Onion rings have gone downhill since we last had them though. Way too much batter, no onion flavour and we were given Chipotle bbq sauce rather than Chipotle mayo.
Lazy, unhelpful staff - website says they are open until midnight and they decide to close early because the staff wanted to finish early
A pop out stall from Bar Luca (near circular quay). The burgers were suppose to replicate what there is in Bar Luca but unfortunately the famous Blame Canada maple syrup is replaced with maple mayo which was too greesy for the burger.
Recommend heading to the original at circular quay but good for quick bite
Enjoyed the vegan options a lot. Great food, very quick, nice customer service, will go there again
Only had a chance to try the takeaway but it was really good. So many menu options, and food preferences catered to- keto, gluten free, vegan, Vegeterian etc. So good.
If you like a messy, chunky, end of day burger, this place is for you. Forget a nice hipster/brioche bun burger, get the piled on burger for the full experience. This place was actually recommended by the hotel I was staying at, and it did not disappoint. The place has some sick wall artwork too, great atmos. Would go again.
The burger that wouldn't stop! It felt like I was eating this burger forever. Every bite was amazing. Recommend.
I was with my girlfriends last week. Couldn't decide what to eat and we ended up grabbing a quick bite at BL burgers
Jonathan was really nice to speak with and super friendly. The burgers was definitely one of the best I've ever had!
Go BL burgers
Bun was cold and not toasted. The Blame Canada was mediocre at best. Certainly won't be going back.
Happy to pay the price for a late night burger. Always hit this place after a girls night out on Oxford street. BEST solution to wake up without a hangover, and you don't feel guilty at 11: 30 at night. LOL #burgerthighs
Worst customer service, have been there previously do not recommend any one to visit Oxford street one.
