Beautiful restaurant, professional and lovely service and a lively atmosphere. The food was so beautiful, and they have a kids menu as well. Will definitely dine here again.

Fabulous food and service, one of the very best in the highlands. Great vibe, we really enjoyed our experience at Bistro Sociale.

Gorgeous decor. Quaint and cozy for a special occasion dinner in winter. What ruined the night was the anemic service. Firstly, don’t accept 8: 30 bookings if your kitchen is so temperamental that you must take the order after 30 Seconds of handing me the menu. Either don’t accept the booking or manage your kitchen properly. Secondly the waitress was extremely short, didn’t check to see if things were going well, she clearly looked like she didn’t want to be there. My partner had the steak which was nice but I had the duck which wasnt anything special. Given the service I wouldn’t go back.

Food was amazing! Steak was the best we’ve had in a long time. Lychee martini’s are a hit. Servers could’ve been a little more friendly but overall happy with our visit.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Entree to dessert was amazing. We almost licked plates! Great service and wine list too.

Visiting Bowral for the first time mid week there weren’t as many options to choose from as you would find on a weekend. After looking at a few menus we decided upon Bistro Sociale. The food was absolutely delicious. From the special entree of the day, the mains and dessert were all amazing. We will be back.

Beautiful venue and Staff working hard but ……. Not enough food or value for money - very disappointing as we had visitors and wanted somewhere special for breakfast. Unfortunately was way below what we expected!

Very cool environment and the decor is fabulous. Unfortunately their wait staff let them down with poor service with attention to detail sadly missing. Meals got mixed up and the sides arrived after we had finished the mains. Such a shame as this place looks like it should have everything going for it.

Amazing location, house was magnificent. Service was phenomenal and quick.
Issue was with the food, $55 for a flavourless, bland and under / not seasoned steak.

Atmosphere on Point. Service was great. My Fillet steak was flawless. I felt the Rib eye and Scotch Fillet steak some of the guys had lacked the size and weight advertised. The Scotch look more like a sizzle steak. The drinks menu is one of the best I have seen. Want Gin, These guys have Gin.

Lovely food, excellent & speedy service, friendly atmosphere. Great food though limited vegetarian options, good range of non-alcoholic drink options in addition to the excellent alcoholic drink menu. Try the no-groni mocktail!

Great food and service - warm and friendly environment. We have high expectations for food and service, this place is cut a above local offerings and we come regularly. Some reviews are so harsh - and unnecessary: the locale, food and vibe is excellent. Upmarket bistro feel not Heston Blumenthal dining…

Brilliant place beautiful setting great service.
We had a large and growing group in for a birthday lunch, the staff where so accommodating and friendly nothing was an issue. Food was amazing and the gin menu was extensive. We loved it highly recommended.
