What a delightful find. Great coffee and the muffins and cakes fabulous. The service was excellent

Its a rarity to recieve good food and great service, its true. Very rare and very important. On a holiday: local knowledge: priceless! Recieved along with a fantastic coffee, Jordi helped us out today and would definitely reccomend a visit to Birchwood. Great experience!

After checking reviews on coffee shops in Jindabyne we went into Birchwood and were not disappointed.
Coffees were perfect. We only had the fruit toast but even that was excellent with plenty of whipped butter and fresh fruit on the side. Saw some of the dishes for new menu and we have to return and try some. Owner and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

Mediocre coffee, definitely better places in town. Food is also ok, though almost too different. The place is extremely poorly designed as well, getting an order to go is an absolutely painful experience.

We got an early morning takeaway coffee - it was excellent - 9.5/10.
The cafe has really lovely decor and friendly staff + an excellent range of healthy food and drink options on the menu.

I ordered special brunch (Nutella banana pancakes)
It was just one piece of thin pancake with a little Nutella flavor with one scoop of ice cream and whipped cream)
Just pretty hungry after eating and it was $20 dollars

The turkish eggs were so delicious! Just wanted to mention the waitress we had this morning was so lovely, you could tell it was absolute peak hour and she was the only one on the floor, not only did she handle everything flawlessly, but she did it all with a smile on her face, great service is really appreciated especially as we had a grumpy, hungry baby! The food and coffee was great and we’ll be back.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here, very relaxing. Food is very tasty and made with the freshest ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place to catchup with friend's, breakfast delicious, coffee lovely as was turmeric latte, service quick and very nice girl looking after us. Bloody Mary's delicious! Thanks.

Great fresh food, had the eggs with avocado, bacon and spinach and my partner had the animal burger with the double Patti. Food was delicious, well presented and fresh. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Atmosphere is great! Highly recommended ️

Great cafe. Excellent coffee, the raspberry and white choc house made muffin was great and the bacon and egg roll is sensational. Highly recommended - most of the service was good, we had one lady that made me feel like I was an inconvenience, but the others were lovely. If you get the grump, it's worth putting up with it as it's a great cafe.

I first went here a week ago for coffee and a snack, and today went back for a breakfast. The coffee was as excellent as the first time, and the breakfast was pretty smashing - Avocado on toast with a bunch of other stuff that might've sounded like too much going on but was instead just perfect. The decor's neat and fresh, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I'm pretty sure this might become our weekly pre-shopping stop. Tops place - give it a go.

Long term follow-up. 6 years later I've nothing to add. The quality has stayed as high as it started, and it's still the place for me in town for excellent (and ever-changing) food, always surprising me with new flavours. Even the muffins are different to everywhere else (light in sponge, densities of flavours - chocolate, berries - throughout).

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Birchwood cafe. It’s a really bright, comfortable and welcoming space. Staff were friendly and attentive and the service was prompt. We had lunch on two consecutive days during our weekend visit. The food was delicious on both occasions… not to mention the coffee! We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend.

Delicious coffee, food was good too. Felt sorry for the girl on the floor doing all the work by herself.

Amazingly good food, this cafe is a must stop over if you are heading up to the snowy mountains or staying in Jindabyne.

We stopped for lunch, and it was pretty busy, but staff were able to provide great service. Friendly staff, nice environment. Good value I had the Texas burger and was very happy.

Definitely would go here again. The food was well portioned and not too expensive and the coffee was perfect.

We’ve eaten at Birchwood a dozen times and it’s always been great. Food is delicious and healthy, and a light airy space to eat. Can be busy, but that just gives it some atmosphere.
