This was an amazing experience and Mike was a really good bloke definitely going back again
We loved our stay at Bilpin Country Lodge. It was our first trip away with our two kids under two and were lucky enough to have the lodge to ourselves. We visited on a Monday and Tuesday and though many of the sites around Bilpin were shut, there was more than enough things for us to do around the lodge. Highlights were the playground, indoor play area and the animals. The included breakfast was a great addition and Mick was an amazing wealth of knowledge. We are already looking forward to visiting again in the future:)
Family of 4 (2 adults, 11yr old and 13yr old) stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Activities are endless - kids being farmers for the next 2 days, collecting chicken eggs, campfire, indoor sports like table pool, basketball, trampoline and table tennis. The self-help breakfast pantry was a huge variety! We totally enjoyed cooking the freshly laid farm eggs, pancake mix and the best hot chocolate ever. Among the 7 accommodations we stayed during this 12-day trip in sydney, we all unanimously rated bilpin country lodge as our favourite. Thanks Mike for the wonderful hosting. Great memories from this stay.
Our family had a lovely stay here. We were thankful that we had the whole lodge to ourselves. We met Mike briefly before he left but he was very kind and made sure that we had everything we needed before leaving. Mike also shared that he tries not to mix families during the current covid times, which was very considerate and wise. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals, the games room (which had a huge trampoline), starting our own fireplace and simply the whole lodge itself which was beautiful. There was a fully functional kitchen with breakfast food provided, hot water for showering, heater and basically everything we needed. We even had farm fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast! Wish we had more time to enjoy the activities here. Definitely a great experience for city dwellers like us. Hope to come back again in the future!
