Bikram Yoga Darlinghurst

Years ago, I briefly tried Bikram yoga, but the studio I attended closed down. Recently, on a whim, I decided to revisit this form of hot yoga and was fortunate to discover this studio. The instructors are wonderful, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Practitioners of all levels are welcomed, making one feel supported and encouraged to grow, regardless of prior yoga experience. The heat adds an extra dimension to the practice, making it both challenging and rewarding. I've noticed improvements in my flexibility and overall sense of well-being since starting again.

Perfect for travellers and transient types wanting to maintain their practice. Centrally located with experienced and professional teachers who conduct classes (and more) in a warm roomy studio. Friendly too!

I have found the classes invaluable in challenging myself as to what my mind and body are capable of and staff are encouraging and supportive.

The OG! Marty, Katie, and the extended Bikram Darlo family have worked so hard to build such a beautiful community at Bikram Yoga Darlinghurst. The teachers are excellent and the classes are amazing.

Also there are many plans you can choose and many classes a day.

Great studio to practice at, thoughtful community of yogis with a range of activities. Recently went to one of the trips to Bali with the studio and it was a great experience. Highly recommended for all levels of practitioners.

Bikram yoga at Darlo is an experience, you get full support from teachers and the very owners. The practice is full on, so just take it, surrender to the words and move your body as the teacher speaks the dialogue. Darlo was my home studio and it will always be in my heart, I learnt so much and I'm grateful I could practice there.

Wonderful teachers, great community and a practice that is a major physical and mental challenge every single time. I love this place.

Attending classes here is like coming home to a very welcoming family. I feel family in this studio. Staff and teachers are really accomodating and helpful. Location is perfect. Studio is clean and well managed. Even if I cant do all postures because of some joint issues, teachers are very understanding. Everyone should try check this beautiful and friendly bikram yoga studio.

I started practicing Bikram yoga at this school several years ago after a friend suggested I should try Bikram, and I have to say, it's been quite an experience! The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring and they create a supportive atmosphere that helps me push myself in my practice.

The best part is the health benefits I have experienced since starting my practice. Not only has it helped me to improve my flexibility and strength, but it has also reduced my stress levels and improved my overall sense of well-being.

Clean, spacious, well-heated and well-ventilated classic Bikram yoga studio. I've practiced and taught Bikram yoga around the world for 20 years and seen a lot of studios and a lot of teachers. This is a top studio with passionate, solid teachers. I was in Sydney for a couple of days and took 2 classes. Both teachers were excellent (Marty, one of the owners, and Justin). You can tell when teachers care about you and care about the yoga, are authentic and present and have solid teaching skills. These guys were both great.

There are closed-door private showers in a unisex shower area. There are mats and clean fluffy towels for hire, water and coconut water to purchase, and a water dispenser to refill your bottle. There's a hang out area to chill and chat after class.

I was so happy to find this place and practice. If I lived in Sydney I'd be here every day. I highly recommend this studio.

These instructors are awesome. The place has a charm about it that is hard to describe. I’m just a beginner looking for something real. The adhoc hot yoga at FF just didn’t cut it. Beginners seem very welcome. Clean. Off beat. Quiet. Respectful. Non-judgemental. Just what you need, to get away into your own world for a few precious hours. Loved how a white guy at reception ever so gently asked “a very Indian me” to remove my shoes! Nice. Highly recommended.

Excellent studio with very high quality teachers for all Levels. Great heat and very big studio with room for all. Owners really committed to students and community of very nice students. Really enjoy the number of classes offered each day so no excuses for not getting into class. World class studio. Very welcoming crew who genuinely help and motivate through the sessions. The studio is maintained well and there is a lot of information available to read. Thank you. Definitely will recommend practising here. There is a very strong sense of community and wellbeing.

Excellent Bikram Hot Yoga studio. Jane the instructor was fabulous- motivating and yet tough! I had a few of my poses well corrected as a result. You can do casual drop in or virtual class. Shower is available (very clean). Well worth a try if you want to start hot yoga or travelling through Sydney.

Since Marty & Katie took over the studio has gone from strength to strength. The yoga is consistently excellent and the yoga space is one of the nicest anywhere on earth. The staff are always welcoming. If you are looking for your yoga home look no further.
