Bike Hire @ Sydney Olympic Park

After the map app was installed in our mobiles the Google was following me for a review as they have back tracked my route!
They knew I have something to do with Bike Hire!
So today I take the great honour, the privilege & the freedom to write about Bike hire as I am not an employee at Bike Hire any more. Which is ethical & fair enough to write few words as a note of “THANKS”.
After a long service of Sixteen (16) Years and 4 months I left Bike hire on the 07/01/2024 (Sunday)
I can say very fearlessly & proudly that I have ”breast fed“ this bike hire from the day one to set up our Raving fans & customers! What a beauty!
I am a people person & I have this built in package within me, which is part & parcel of me.that has helped all of these CUSTOMERS abundantly, for me to render the required customer SERVICE. I know for a fact that this quality of mine became a great asset for Bike hire at all times; as I tried my level best to the best of my ability to look after the customers while looking after the business too! It’s the People from all walks of life who gave me the energy, the passion, the interest to sail in this company day to day comfortably!
What a pleasure, a self satisfaction I have earned from these customers were PRICELESS! That cannot be evaluated for money!
I can fearlessly, proudly, profoundly say that I have devoted, dedicated my time & energy to look after my valuable, awesome, kind, loving, nice & bubbly customers! I have gone that extra mile, gone to the deep end deep diving to look after them to the BEST of my ability, nothing but the BEST to the real BEST!

The first time I went here was almost 10 years ago and I was met by a lovely smiling woman whose service was fantastic. Their bikes were easy and great to ride. I recently went again after 10 years and I was again met by the same smiling lady! The ride was so lovely and there’s plenty of tracks to choose from. Love coming here!

Really enjoyed our time at bicentennial park. The bike hire there is really convenient. We were helped by Anoma who is always accommodating and welcoming.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. We hired 4 gear-bikes and the price was reasonable. They offer helmet which you need to wear all the time.

The park has beautiful biking trail; you can enjoy around 2-3 hours exploring the park. The trail leads through wetland, pond and green-area lined with beautiful trees. There’s also a place from where you can spot birds as well.

Really enjoyed it with my family. The lady at the counter was really helpful and she explained and proposed a very flexible package through which I was able to book a single package and rode me & my 7 year son, then my wife and then my little 3 year daughter. All in one!

Been to this place many times and when served by the lady I've been always greeted with a smile and excellent customer service.

Was given excellent service by the staff there. They went above and beyond to make sure that our bikes were comfortable and that we had an enjoyable experience.

So completely rude. Put rules on that is not on the website. It's ridiculous to make up rules that are illogical and pointless.
If you're going to disappoint people at least put it on the website so that children aren't disappointed!

Went there today. Told the lady working there it was my first time riding a bike in a while. She was so kind and helpful and offered tips for starting. The bike trails nearby are wonderful.

Anoma bike lady is very kind and friendly. She is so nice and the park is so beautiful. You should go there and rent a bike for explore the park. I wanna go there again and meet her.

My family has been served by the same owners for almost 15 years now, and have always been greeted with enthusiasm. Always a great experience hiring from here!

We had a wonderful and a memorable experience. Ms. Anoma was extremely nice and accomodating, and she voluntarily gave us a few instructions as it was our first time hiring bikes, which really came in handy during the ride. The bikes we hired were also in good condition. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a bike to hire to enjoy the breathtaking views of olympic park.

Amazing place to rent professional and top quality bikes. We were served by Anoma who is always welcoming and provided top customer service. We have been going there ever since we were young and always appreciate her warm smile and welcome. Highly recommend hiring a bike from this place and exploring the many trails.

Worst cycle. They give damaged cycle and ask money said you damaged the cycle. Very bad experience.

I am always met with a friendly smile, professional service and a genuine warmth when hiring. I regularly cycle around the parklands, and want to acknowledge Ano and her service. I have become a return regular customer because of her service, care and kindness.

Todays experience was absolutely shocking. When we arrived at the location at 4.20 there was a sign saying bike hire closed at 4pm (when the website stated it’s 4.30). I joined the queue as this didn’t make sense. The lady that usually helps us choose our bikes told us that they’re closed and not to wait in line. I told her how is that possible when your website states you close bike hire at 4.30? She said ok fine you can wait then. Once it was our turn, the man behind the counter was so rude and immediately said “we’re closed. ”
I was so shocked. I informed him that we had just driven 45 mins to hire bikes for our family and struggled to find parking. He had absolutely no compassion at all. He refused us because it was 4.35 (5 mins after bike hire closing time) by the time we reached the front of the queue (we had been waiting in line from 4.20).
My little girls were in tears and so upset. The man behind the counter even flicked his pen at me with frustration after I was expressing my disappointment (the pen didn’t hit me otherwise this would’ve gone sideways). I understand that their closing time was 4.30 but a bit of compassion and an apology for the inconvenience goes a long way.
I don’t know who this man is that was working behind the counter as I’ve never seen him before but he’s definitely not good for business.
There needs to be more places for bike hire made available because I am positive with this sort of customer service and lack of care, many wouldn’t tolerate this and return to them.
