BIG4 Easts Beach Holiday Park reviews
66I stayed here with Ron and some friends of ours we've known for years. Reading the way the park likes to gaslight critical feedback makes me realise it's a waste giving my two cents worth. We won't be back.
Great family place, there are activities throughout the weekend, awesome waterpark for kids.ammenities are well maintained
Great place for a holiday great water park, great coffee and hot food shop right by a golden sand beach! What more could you want
10/10 recommend. Great park, great facilities for little kids. We had a powered ensuite site and the shower is AMAZING! Best campground shower I’ve ever had.
One word.
PERFECT!
Booking in was so easy.
Friendly staff, great location and met some friendly people.
I plan to return.
Becareful if you’re taking elderly family members and little ones. My mum had a really bad fall, slipped on their ground green mash mats as it was placed over tree roots at a slope and became extremely slipper. Mum needed surgery after the incident.
Location (On the beach. If you get put at a tent site at the back of the park [that backs onto a train line that is used at 3: 50,4: 40 & 5: 50 AM! ])
Ambience (Nice if you get near the beach)
Reception (Friendly)
Cleanliness (Very good)
Service (Stuff were busy when I arrived)
Value ($42 for a tent site next to the train line)
Great park with very attentive grounds keeper, we stayed for 5 days and he came to sweep our site as there were leaves on it.big bathrooms that are always clean.only issue is the wifi is unreliable in some camp sites.would come back
Really nice caravan park. Well maintained, beautiful location. Some sites for trailers/vans are squeezy. Don't know how we would hitch up and drive out if the neighbouring sites were full. That's just our experience. All in all a lovely place especially in off season.
We caravanned for 3 nights in June 2023 (Sat-Tue) on a powered site and were placed opposite the bins and the amenities block. Not ideal, but not too bad either. The park was mostly empty, particularly from Sunday lunchtime.
We found the maintenance/groundsmen to be very helpful and friendly. One young woman at reception was also very cheerful and welcoming.
The kitchen was amazing. Very neat and clean with plenty of BBQs, ovens, stoves, and fridges.
A visit here in summer would be lovely, especially if you had young children because they are well catered for with fun-looking water play equipment. The nearby beach is very calm, making it excellent for young swimmers. The Kiama coastal walk from the south end of the beach was breathtaking with every turn a photo opportunity.
Location is amazing and the service was excellent. My 3 year old daughter got a splinter on the beach and they came to her rescue in their buggy. She was spoilt with the attention and then checked up on again the next day. All the staff were super friendly which made it an even better stay! Will definitely be booking in next year
A very family friendly caravan park, cabins are very clean with gorgeous views of the beach. So much for the kids to do at the park that they never want to leave.
Best park we've stayed at from freindly staff, cabin was clean, beds comfy, amenities were great and beautiful beach on your doorstep cant wait to go back.
We have stayed at East Beach twice this year in the beach retreat cabin.
Nothing to add from the other great reviews on here.
Cabin was clean, Kids loved it, my husband and I loved it and my elderly parents loved coming and just relaxing on the balcony.
Atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing.
Id say the only disappointment is the check in and check out times. 3pm is a little late (most hotels are around 2pm) and checkout is 10am (again most other places are 11am).
other then that Great place that I will stay again and recommend.
Have been coming to this park with the kids for 10 years, it was our favourite end of year holiday destination. Just finished our stay here and to say I am appalled about the service we received during our stay would be right! Right from the very beginning at check in. Be prepared to be spoken to so rudely. What ever happened to customer service at this place? It’s such a shame as we love the park and the facilities available but the service is disgraceful to say the least. Have spent so much time here and have always done the right thing but the service received just changed our whole perception of this holiday destination. After everything that has gone on in the world the last year or two people look forward to relaxing at their holiday rather then feel as though they are being dictated causing anxiety during their stay.
Park with beautiful location directly on the beach and to the Coastwalk (Approx. 30min walk to Kiama). We got on request a place in a quieter location. Unfortunately the amenities were not clean at all times. They should think about cleaning the amenities more than once a day.
Hey all,
Easts Beach Holiday Park was fantastic, the staff were helpful and really froendly, the park was clean and vibrant, our cabin was spotless, was very room and everything was great, the only issue was that our air con/heater started making a screaming noise at about 3am from the first night and we stayed for 3 days, apart from that, would would have given a 5 star rating.
Keep up tye awesome work guys.
Cheers

This would have to be the most overrated holiday park I have ever experienced. Lets start with the service. Absolutely atrocious. Got there at 2pm, check in is at 3pm. Reception made a comment oh you're early. Please come back at 3pm. Then she continued, you can't leave your car in the 15min parking. Her tone was extremely rude. I came back at 3pm, only to be told my room was still not ready and to wait for a phone call. Still no access to any facilities including toilets. Finally got a phone call at 4.30. They tried to shut me up with a $10 voucher for the park café. The shower was shocking. I had my son in there it took forever to get the temperature right, then half way through the shower the water came down scolding hot, called service, they said it was because another tap was turned on. Tried again with the next shower, made sure no other taps were turned on for the duration, same thing happened. Couldn't even enjoy a shower! Nothing is included. Have to pay for hire of anything and everything. We paid top dollar for the worst service and amenities. Even on check out, I was asked, how was your stay, I said it was a very bad experience. The lady replied oh no. And that was it. She didn't ask why, wasn't interested to further investigate to maybe try and redeem the park. The staff need to realise they work in the hospitality industry and this level of service is totally unacceptable. I understand they may be under pressure as it is the beginning of the peak season, but if you can't handle it, find another industry to work in.
This was my first time, and definitely my last time. If I could have given no stars I would have. Definitely not worth the money.
Absolutely ridiculous they don't allow skateboarding in the park and you need to register your kids scooter or bike at the front, typical nanny state BS.
Love this place! Cabins wer clean and perfect for a family.
Pool is one of the best. Water splash park was alot of fun
