BIG4 Ballina Headlands Holiday Park

Great camping spot with a very nice pool and good facilities for younger kids. Excellent wifi. Got a good deal via the website.

We loved our stay! Great for kids and the location was great in that it was easy access to the beach and nice walks to Lennox Head.

One of the best I have stayed at. Beautiful little park well catered for the children. Spotless amenities. Very lovely staff could not fault anything.

We had a lovely 2 night stay on our road trip from Brisbane to Sydney.
Cabin was nice with a good pool area. Quite a basic park, no bells and whistles but the good basics for a small park.
Location-wise was a bit out of the way, had to drive everywhere.

The lady who greeted us, Cathryn, is a legend. She was happy, joyful, an advocate for her area and really just a nice lady. There was an activity pack for our kids on arrival (which is amazing as you set up), the site was level and flat and you are given a map of the local area.

One of the best play areas we have seen and a heated spa.

The garden view from cabin 8 was lovely and it was just a short distance from the pool and spa.

The cabin was a spacious 2 bedrooms, and we really enjoyed the verandah. It had full kitchen facilities and heaps of storage. Beds and lounge were all comfy!

This park had SO much for the kids to do. Pool/spa, kids area with table tennis, pool table, cinema room, games, reading area, big chess, playground and jumping pillow. There was also go-kart hire, which was a massive hit with my 3 kids. They wanted to stay in the park more than sightseeing!

The staff were so lovely and went above and beyond for us a few times.

We had a fantastic stay and couldn't fault it at all. Thankyou to the whole team=)

Comfortable cabin with all amenities. Good parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location. Secure access. About 7.5 km north of Ballina towards Lennox Head. Would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay at. Big sites for caravans, ensuires sites. Large very clean amenities. In between Ballina and Lennox head. Walking distance to really good beach. Residential living as well.

Fantastic park! We only stayed one night but the cabins were super clean and tidy and had everything we would need for a longer stay. Wish we had more time but we still managed to visit the pool and playground which were both fantastic. We will return for a longer trip next time!

Great place to take the family for a Holiday. Visited some friends there on the weekend and loved it.will be going back to stay ourselves. Park is very well maintained and prices are good too. Plenty of activities to keep kiddies occupied, too.

A pristine, perfectly landscaped tropical Oasis. Beautiful small park with lots of palm trees, nice green grassy sites around perfectly placed concrete pads for your annex or awning. No unsightly permanent vans like you see in other parks. Beautiful clean pool & spa. Gardeners, cleaners & maintenance seen working every day to keep everything perfect. The amenities very clean & also noticed when the cleaners were cleaning onsuite, they were even replacing shower curtains with each use. Tracey and the other ladies in reception very friendly & helpful. Our tow car broke down while we were at the park, and they offered to take us in to town before we were able to get a rental car. We were forced to leave our caravan at the park for a while & had absolutely no worries about it's safety. After we were finally able to move the van on, we were even sent a follow up message to see we had gotten home safely & the car was doing ok!
We could not have asked for a more perfect place to get "stuck" at.
Highly recommend this park if you are wanting to stay around Ballina area. It is a 5 minute drive to local shopping centre (includes Woolworths) short drive to Lennox heads, not far at all from Ballina and an easy drive to Byron Bay, making it the perfect position to explore the area. We don't have small kids, but they do have plenty of facilities to keep them amused also.
Overall, one of the best places we've ever stayed at.

Very disappointed with our stay. We booked an ensuite site and a particular site. Upon arrival the site we had booked was given to someone else. When l spoke to management all l got was a rude person. Park has certainly change since new owners have taken over. Past owners used to assist with tourist parking their caravan. Not sure we will be back

I called 3 times prior for an email confirmation & they never sent it. We got there, the toilet leaked in the cabin & they accused us of breaking it: there was an infestation of cockroaches in the cabin: beds were so uncomfortable. There is nothing to do besides the pool for the kids. They constantly got in to trouble for riding near the residence area, which is 90% of the complex. The pool & okay area closes exactly at 8pm and they expect everyone to go to bed. Sun is still shining, so I don’t understand why the kids couldn’t keep playing. It’s a caravan park you need to leave every day for outings to keep entertained.

Great people to deal with and they go out of their way to help in any way possible. (Gas tins.)

We stayed in a 2B cabin, which was neat and tidy. Kids loved the pool and spa. Everyone really friendly. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Small shop with basics available to purchase. Two shopping centres a short drive. Short drive to beach. We had a great stay.

They announce Wi-Fi available in all areas of the park. It is Fake. The place were I parked the Motorhome there was no Wi-Fi signal. I went to the front desk to ask for help and the answer I receive, “ we cannot solve it, I am sorry”. Ridiculous!

What a great park. Great location and close to cafes and shops. Well maintained amenities, great atmosphere and quite. Not pet friendly though.
