BIG W Taree reviews
46Nice Big W store. I can't believe we escape Sydney for the weekend and first place we make a beeline to is this place. Good range, shelves were full.
Has everything you need but there won't be a photo shop soon, very disappointed. And disappointing about any xbox or playstation 5 games, not even out yet and there already sold out. This is the second time this has happened. Customers come first, not the staff! Grow up and be a business, not the disappointment that you are!
Went to Big w today and was served by Alex he made us feel so welcome what a credit to big w to have such a lovely young man serve us well done
Horrible place, stunk and barely any staff to help me.half of their items were out of stock and I couldn't find anything
Very comprehensive stock items, just about anything you need, staff are well informed & are always willing to point you in the right direction to find what you need. Prices very competitive, so can be cheaper than elsewhere. Very happy with this retailer.
The tramontina borosilicate thermal shock 800mls coffee plunger. Good quality but very disappointed by the very big gap above the pour sprout. Coffee doesn't stay hot for 2nds.
Very rude and arrogant staff especially Carmen the so called manager. Have no idea how it even got its position.it is no wonder the staff are arrogant with it as their manager. Wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone
Always get prompt service and the staff are always friendly and happy to help with problems, questions or purchases!
Absolutely disgusting, only allowing vaccinated people in your stores! And making all workers get there shots.
Lost thousands of shoppers and I hope they never go back when you open up and try get them all to come back.
Very un-Australian.
Dont shop here they are one of the segregaters have spent thousands here over the years, never again. EVER!
The lady in the change room was rude when my daughter asked about a product and couldn't even point her in the direction she said where is was ment to be.
A beautiful woman called Stacey works here.
Just returned 15/7/21 and was assisted at the checkout by the beautiful Manning Valley mother Stacey.
Excellent I got all my grandchildrens Christmas presents done in one shop, staff were very helpful.
Charged extra to tie baloons together when given no information is displayed or given to state this will occur. Charged an extra almost $10 to tie baloons down. Not impressed and will not be returning or recommending.
They do not stock 6,7,8,9, kg dumbells the small polly coated ones that people in wheelchairs can use, the others with the bar through the middle damage the wheelchair
Shiny new cleaning products, inexpensive, friendly courteous staff, bit crowded this time of day though.
Best Big W i've been in. Huge range of stock in a well set-out store with friendly staff. If all Big W's were this good, competitors would not stand a chance - especially the chinese no-name, no quality brand selling coles-owned department store.
Poor and mean customer service and very unfriendly. Today I wanted to purchase 3 boxes of nappy because it was on special. I brought it to the lay-bys area I wanted to pay full amount and pick up the next day. One of the lady told me we are not doing this here. You have to take it to the front. The reason I brought it up there because I didn’t drive to shop today I clearly explained it to her. So I wanted to change to lay-bys she asked me whether have I ever done any lay-bys before I answered No.however I put all my details and she printed out the receipt I got charge $5 lay-bys fees which I didn’t know and also she didn’t explain to me there is lay-bys fees. I was very disappointed with her poor customer service.
Got there 4 minutes before closing time, they said they were closed, as I was walking away i
turned around to watch a young man walk
Strait in
The star i gave them is a minus.
On most occasions I am very happy with service I get from Taree, and really it's not a complaint about service, but rather, communication and possibly procedure that needs changing. I say this because I got my husband to go into store when he finished work, which means he has to go home first (tinonee) and swap vehicles as he can not utilise his work vehicle for personal reasons, and then drive to town to get the bike we lay by for our son and paid the extra money for it to be made up. He went to pick up, and it hadn't been made up, and was told the guy who died this wont be back till Saturday! This is no good to us, as my husband will be at port all day Saturday. Also as a side note, I had been in earlier this week, and advised staff my husband would be coming I to pick up, I even mentioned that due to me paying the extra to have put together that he would be doing it as it would not fit in my car, and all they advised me was that he would need to provide drivers licence and that they would leave note that he was to pick up. I work fulltime, my husband works full time, and have to say I'm a bit frustrated. Maybe something you can look at and change or font offer the assembly and charge for it.
