BIG W Charlestown

Exactly as a Big W should be friendly staff well stocked. Charlestown Square parking is good. 2.1m vehicles fit well.

I went to buy baby clothes and was very impressed with the variety, colours, prices and styles. Keep up the great work.

A good store with plenty of room and a nice, clean, modern appeal. Lots of stock to go around, and all at great prices. There is a lack of brands though, choosing mostly in-house brands. Primarily come here for clothes and homewares, but the electronics is better suited to places like JB HiFi. Checkouts are a pain, and staff are mediocre, but you can overlook that most of the time.

Usually always buzzing with people but never any dramas or anything that disrupts a good shopping experience

Ok store but I went for party decor and disappointed so had to go to kmart. Regular customer due to store is close to home, but still prefer kmart.

There is a great range to choose from at this store. But the only thing is a lot of it is out of stock. It would have got an extra star if this was not the case, but it is what it is I suppose. I would recommend it highly. The stock they do have is surprisingly good quality. But it has some stuff that is not as good. Customer service at self serve checkout registers is unexceptionable and should be reprimanded even sacked for their actions, A customer suggested to open up other registers to minimise the congestion in the corner, 2 female staff members spoke among themselves laughing while looking directly at the customer, obvious both staff members amused themselves about the coment. Not the first time I have witnessed this behaviour from staff memebers in this same Big W store, and in the self serve checkout area.

Rudest, most ignorant and indifferent staff on the planet. Given every excuse possible, spoke down to and spoke of offensively to other staff members in front of me. The woman working blowing up balloons should not be in any position where she has to deal with customers and honestly should be locked in a room as far away as possible from any chance they will come face to face with a customer. I came to the conclusion she doesn't wear a name badge for the reason she would cop thousands of reviews similar to this and for someone of her age you would think you would try to enjoy your twilight years instead of being a rude, nasty and just plain incompetent human being. Would post her name if I knew it just to give everyone a heads up to avoid her at all costs. If you want balloons from Big W good luck!

Same as all Big W's. Layout etc.they follow a formula and it works. Nothing to rave about.

To the lovely Erin from clothing/fitting room who went above and beyond to look for clothing in stock whilst I was home sick with covid.

They called the police on me after I left with a printer I purchased at JB HI-FI. They didn't even ask to see a receipt. Pure lack of competence. Disgusted.

At least there is no more waste of time for vaccine certificate check and all those Covid 19 dramas

The store itself is ok but don't always carry whats advertised and the staff absolutely suck. Such grumps. Except for the audio staff they are always pleasant.

Hard to find any floor staff to give assistance. Eventually found what I had gone in for. They have used the slow periods during covid to re organise shop. No revised layout map provided.

Big W has always been THE place to buy Christmas trees. So what do I expect to see right when I enter the store? Christmas trees. Only. THERE WAS NONE! Big W is the place where broke people like me go to buy Christmas trees! I'm so sad now.

I always find BW Charlestown good to go to. Great open plan Store with great Variety and nice people working there.
Specials right throughout store. Was a bit hectic getting in yesterday only small area to Enter through after Checking In.

Great store plenty of stock.but just wanted to put in good word bout a young female staff worker who helped calm a crying customer in the book department. She was lovely and soothing to this upset lady and then helped me find the exact books I was looking for.unfortunately didnt catch her name but was wearing the blue work shirt and brown hairr, working monday 13th.very kind

Big store. Relatively easy to find things. Found that I waited ages for someone to help me at self checkout though other than that awesome
