Big Country PVC Fencing

Recently purchased fencing. Quality is fantastic however after sales service is terrible. Had to call 3 times to find out why fence was delayed, turned up with generic instructions that didn't suit our fencing and no instructions or returned calls from Troy on gate installation. Very disappointed. We live in a rural area and have been approached by people on info on the fence but right now - wouldn't recommend.

Incredibly happy with the workmanship and results. Front is a picket fence and the backyard now full privacy. Done in two days including taking away the old chain link fence and concrete footing. I’ve literally had people knock on the door to ask about it. We’ll be using them again for our driveway gate next year.

We recently used Big Country PVC Fencing and couldn't be happier with their service. Troy and his boys were professional we ended up with exactly what we wanted, the product is awesome. I would definitely recommend them.

We installed about 150m of 3 rail fencing DIY and it looks great. Big Country were very supportive but a bit more DIY printed or online info would have been helpful.

Have given Big Country months to make good of a fence install which largely was OK. Never get a call back, no responses to emails. Problem is not much attention to spaces between posts which results in panels falling out as only held on by 1mm of rail. Gaps between adjoining panels stand out like sore thumbs. I've tried to work with them to come up with a solution however they just don't care. 3/4 of the install is good, just not the 1/4 that you see on a daily basis. Disappointing when you've tried and been patient over many many months with calls and emails.

Update 16/08/2022 - Fencing has been rectified with new rails provided which were custom routed to suit each of the different spacing between the posts.

Very poor customer service as I contacted them via phone and email awaiting compensation for damaged posts and faulty tech screws.
They have choose to ignore me even tho they have agreed to compensate me for the cost of new tech screws and clear primer to remove scratches that came with post and gated!

Couldn't be happier with our new pvc fence. With covid disruptions we had were faced with unexpected delays at no fault of their own however the wait has definitely been well worth it, there was one stage where we thought of doing the install ourselves to try to fast track it but so glad we didn't, Troy and the team did a fantastic job and just great people overall thanks to Troy and his team

Just had our gorgeous picket fence installed and to say we are in love is an understatement. The service and professionalism of this company is a breath of fresh air in a world of dodgy. Its a great product and I recommend to anyone thinking about updating their fence to go for it! You will not regret it.

Great fence. At a good price. Delivery was arranged by us because their choice was a bit expensive.

We have had our full privacy fence now for two years. We are absolutely wrapped with it and so far has stood the test of time. A great warranty comes with this product.
We live in Townsville QLD where everything gets thrashed by the sun, humidity and rainy season. The fence still looks great!
As with anything like this you need to do your homework and know exactly what steps are required for your own conditions.
We arranged our own fence builder, excavator, mini skips etc as we had a fence to pull down and bought all the product from Big Country who shipped it up to us. Once the posts are in the ground the rest of the fence couldn't be easier, sixty metres went up within in a day because everything slots in quickly with no nails required. Any fence builder can do this.
Troy and Garrick were very helpful and great to deal with. They do get busy so all I can say is be clear about what you want and when you need it by and follow up when required. They will rise to the occasion. LOVE OUR FENCE!

I wouldn't even give them one star, useless! The most unprofessional company. Gave us a lead time and changed it 4 times! We waited literally months. On the 5th of November last year we paid the deposit for Big Country fencing to do the job of replacing all of the fencings around our Villas. They pushed the job back numerous times, Troy the owner promised to phone me on three occasions in one week and never bothered to call, I had to chase him and at the last hour the company attempted to charge an additional $1000 to remove existing fencing. This was never mentioned as an option for us to have the existing fencing removed independently it's a pretty big thing to just not mention! And if we did we would have literally gone a few weeks with no fencing around the Villas in the middle of Surfers Paradise and there is swimming pool next door so there would have been no safely measures for children whatsoever! All they mentioned was having hedges removed and said we could do it or they would and there would be an additional cost involved for it. Im so glad we canceled the job and although is is more expensive we have chosen to go with a far greater quality product Aluminium. I have never had to write a poor review about a company but I do not want anyone to be stuffed around the way I was by this company. I did get my refund back but would recommend you as a company up skilling your customer service, communicating when you say you are going to and not giving misleading lead times for a start date. I could have been earning interest on the thousands of dollars sitting in your account for months only to be refunded to me.

Fantastic company and product. We had an issue with the concreter not making the concrete nib under the fence high enough as we have small dogs. This was a major issue but Big Country sorted it out with aplomb. They fitted filler panels under the fence and it is awesome. Great company and great people. Just a word of warning, they are very busy so the lag time between order and install can take some time, but well worth the wait.

Useless, never got back to me (just wanted a quote.) i even provided them all the measurements and followed up a total of 4 times!

Troy and his team have done an exceptional job of our fence and auto gate. Highly recommend, they go above and beyond which is very hard to come by these days. I’ve had so many people stop on the street and ask where I got my fence, everyone loves it!
