Bidfood Central Coast

Appalling experience with Bidfood. We have been customers for 8 years, have never complained or raised a dispute about their products and always paid regularly - up until recently when a customer bit down into a sandwich and DAMAGED THEIR TEETH due to a ROCK hidden in one of Bidfood’s products (pesto).

We had to throw out all of our products that had the pesto on it, all our pesto, pay our poor customer’s dental costs AND not to mention it happened in a cafe full of people and a number of regulars have not returned due to this incident.

I raised this with Bidfood and they credited the tubs of pesto and then demanded we fix up the remainder of the invoice with no acknowledgment of the hundred (if not thousands) we are now out of pocket.

The central coast rep came out to the cafe as he needed to pick up the rock which he has now done and we have heard nothing since.

Instead of resolving this issue and responding to my emails they have just ignored us and shut down our account. After 8 years of loyalty! I have never raised an issue like this before and when I did I was perfectly reasonable and just wanted to resolve it with them.

It is very clear that Bidfood’s priorities sit with how much money they can extract from their small business customers and not the customers themselves.

I deal with this company on a regular basis and cannot fault them. Everyone from Benny the rep to the delivery drivers are pleasent, helpful and courteous.

Dealt with them all month. Staff are stretched but aren't rude or unpleasant. Goods are dispatched on time and received on time.

Rude, unobliging dispatch/ receiving staff. It seems to be a superior complex. Possibly an inferior complex coming across as superior. Lost my business.
