Bicentennial Park reviews
13I recommend walking towards this park along Glebe Point Road which has nearly maintained Victorian terrace houses. The park itself is a great spot for watching New Year's fireworks, although the Anzac bridge cuts over the view but you have to consider that this park is usually not ticketed or overly busy and bus routes stay open. If you want something slightly more challenging, you can walk along the park all the way to the fish market.
Beautiful park and foreshore. Great area for a walk along the harbour. There is a playground nearby and areas for dogs to run. Picturesque in the afternoons.
Interesting history surrounding this park. Plaques in various locations describe the history. Great views of Anzac Bridge with Sydney Harbour bridge I background, sports grounds, large grasses areas, good for a picnic. Green space/Industrial vibe.
The views across the water to Anzac Bridge and beyond are fantastic. Some mature Moreton Bay Figs grow at the Glebe part of the walk and add to the stunning scenes.
Half of the park is dogs off lead. Beautiful park with drinking fountains plenty to do and see
Great place for your walks and workouts.great view overall neat and tidy very well maintained by Skyline Landscape Services.
My local park and since the entire park has been re landscaped, a fabulous place to picnic, play sport, walk or cycle. The new Children's playground is tops.
Fantastic park for everyone and furbabies.i love this park.i will be going back there very soon
Beautiful day and night, especially during early sunrise. Along the harbour is a lovely track from the far end to the eastern part all the way to almost fish market. Morning seeing rowing training, dog walkers, runners, and some on bicycles. Dogs are mostly on leash lately although many are still off leash. Probably the safest to walk in the morning as more people are around. At night it is dead quiet. Great for romantic chat or people wanting solitude under moonlight.
So great to take our dog and let have some fun off the leash.
She even went for a swim
Bicentennial Park is the favourite place of Sydney Inner West residents. A weekday stroll or a weekend picnic will be pleasant and memorable if you choose this wonderful place.
I’ve been visiting this park since the trees that now line the cobblestone pathway were saplings. I run, ride walk my dog there, have had numerous family and friend picnics (stock up in foodie treats at the nearby Tramsheds’ supermarket) and BBQs there, worked out, photographed and just generally lazed in the grass there. It is a local treasure and my family considers itself super lucky to live just a few hundred metres away from the park and it’s harbourside views. It has historic aspects (the old cricket ground with its old wooden grandstand is classic old Glebe) and then it also has parts of it that have only really been finished in recent years so that feel a bit flash and new. It is suitable for all ages, most activities and is a must do if you are staying in the Glebe/Annandale area for the weekend.
A nice, open area park for afternoon sports and walks by the water.
Not too much in the way of amenities, so bring your own coffee, drinks and food.
The one playground in the area has seen better days, but still has the ability to challenge/punish kids going too fast on the merry-go-round (photos withheld).:)
