Better Tyres

Needed my caravan rego check completed. Most businesses are closed this time of year around New Year. These guys fitted me in day after calling up. Thorough and very informative rego check as I'm new to the caravan world.
Highly recommended.

While we had a vacation in this area, my car indicated low air pressure warning for a tyre. I have wandered several machine shop and finally get here. They checked my car with care and found no problem. After filling up the air again, it moves without problem bow. So friendly staffs with great experience. Thanks!

Got a flat tire driving to Golburn on road filled with potholes. They ordered the tire quickly and will be fixing it up in a couple of days. All the staff have been very friendly and accommodating.

The guys at Better Tyres have got to be the most honest and efficientl workersi have met, I need a rego pink slip for our second car, Richard asked me when is it due I told him it's a day out, he tells me look, come in at 1: 30pm and we'll sort your pink slip, so I take it to their shop, I'm told they will call when car is ready, I left the car and then get a call, Steve, your rego is out by 3 months I asked in a panic, what do I need to do and where can I get a blue slip, I know the blue slip 5akes a while but even though the shop was busy I'm told no worries we'll do your blue slip, so within 30 or so minutes I get back to their shop, all done car was passed, sadly the other mechanic at Ultra Tune tried to get me to have major work repair on our car (even though they did, ultra tune, work on it before, now telling me same issues) which now I know was a lie, thank god I found Richard and his team at Better Tyres, honest reliable people, a huge thank you to you all, I highly recommend Better Tyres for your car needs, also a great friendly bunch of guys, again, thankyou Better Tyres, so relieved

Ordered tyres online. I was called to organise a time. Booked in as this suited the family, we had a few things to get done in town. On booking in I asked how long the job might take so I could organise timing for pick ups. The older fella on the counter looked miffed at me asking the question? Is it not reasonable to ask how long the job will take? His response "if you want it quicker you can do it yourself". Fair enough mate, having a bad day.

Went for a brew and on returning to the shop, I waited for about 30 minutes and asked one of the other staff if he could give me a ball park. His response "I'm not working on the car mate". The guy who was working on the car also took offence to me asking this question - muttering under his breath when I walked away, but well within earshot? There is more.

4 outcomes - you won't get my business again until the attitude changes; in my opinion, if staff are this rude the leadership must be poor, and I would question how this affects performance; they were also looking for staff, so again, based on the attitude, unless you want the challenge of working in what must be a pretty toxic environment - look for another job. Finally, I'm going out to check the work they did.

Just tyre plugged as screw had gone in. Over charged for simple plug. And then had a go at me for tyres being over inflated in their opinion. Would not recommend taking a shopping trolley to these guys

Absolutely rude to customers and touching things and doing things they had NO RIGHT TO DO and ripping people off. Thinking they know all. Wouldn't go here again.

Excellent customer service. The owner went above and beyond to help me with my broken wheel. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Nowra.

Always excellent service whenever I have visited. Aiden in particular was extremely helpful today, going above and beyond to assist. A great team.

Very rude and discriminating staff working there.
Plus i knew my problem and said i will fix it first and come back but suggested no let us check it for pink slip.
Only to know that they would give me a list of fails including same thing they had passed earlier, seeing which i asked they Innis Mccarthy replied we did it before we lose license but was not suppose to and charged me.
Not freindly and only rude including one senior staff.

Really disappointed.
Had high hopes, considered them friendly.
But regret my decision to go to them.
Misguided and misused and acted similar to other mechanical shops who try to show ten problems and get u robbed for normal thing you go.
I just had bought a car year and half ago
From dealer all right.
Now they show me various problem when I clearly mentioned if u are about to fail I will head to other place. Still forced me to check.

Quick and easy to deal with. Straight talking. Good brand tyres at a good price, and installation was quick.
