Best Western Plus Apollo International

Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank, (I believe it was the manager), Richard, who helped me change my tyre on arriving at the hotel. I was in a bit of a fix, however he handled the situation with ease, swiftly and without complaint, regardless of the rain and people pulling up around him! My sincere thanks for your help. And as I said to you, "You're worth more money! "

Stayed at the BWP Apollo International for one night and found the hotel to be very pleasant. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. Plenty of parking available.
The prize, though, is the staff.
Shout out to the staff at the restaurant Saturday night. The ladies who served us were lovely.cocktails and the dinner fabulous.
We'll definitely choose to stay again when we next visit the area.

Room was nice and clean, spacious, great view, the restaurant was superb only issue I had was with the pillows they were too soft.

Stayed here for work. The receptionists were really nice and most helpful. The food at the restaurant was tasty too. My rooms (stayed on two occasions) were dated, but were clean and generally quiet. Air conditioning worked well. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

Thank you for hosting us at your hotel. Absolutely stunning place with the views to the nature reserve. The first room was noisy most likely because of the lift next to it. We appreciate the receptionist who kindly agreed to change the room because of the noice as we arrived late and it was past midnight. We had a peaceful sleep and woke up ready for day to explore the city.

Nice, clean and tidy hotel. Staff were great. Avoid the steak in the restaurant, I sent mine back for being under cooked and it came back charred and still raw inside. Otherwise great value for money and very comfortable.

I am disabled and the night staff on Wednesday 21st Dec '22 going into Thursday morning were excellent. There was no disabled room but they managed to help me with an alternative. Pleaseant, friendly and interested. I hope managment realise you are their quiet achievers.

Stayed here over the weekend, spa wouldn't work at all and the kettle. Not worth the money.

The young man that checked us in was very professional and welcoming. The room had a lovely feel, bed very comfortable, beautiful outlook from balcony. Everything a guest needs was in the room. A pod coffee machine would be nice. But in general it was a great stay.

Amazing place to stay, the staff are all fantastic, Richard the manager fantastic, Steve the functions coordinator amazing (had a yummy Christmas lunch here) Jane and Kat on the front desk warm and efficient, the team in the restaurant all great, food 5 star, amazing! The rooms are clean and modern, well stocked mini bar, nice and quiet. Great parking. Just go here. You’ll leave smiling

The aircon was so mouldy it made my eyes water when I turned it on, the shower smelled mouldy as well, the entire room smelt of bleach and baby powder. While the staff was lovely as people, there was so many of them there and yet the service was so slow that it just didn't make sense. The free wifi kept dropping out and the volume was stuck on max on the tv, which also could not connect to the internet to view anything other than the racecar channel it was stuck on. The curtains were also stale and sticky and stained. Just generally out dated and old and unclean.
The parking is limited as hell and the carparks themselves narrow.
The only nice thing I can say is that the staff themselves were lovely and I'm sorry they have to work in such a place

Great coffee and pool area. I stay annually to busy family for Christmas This time I paid for an upgrade. Avoid an upgrade paid or not as the room was noisy next to the exit door and lift. Stay with your original reservation as reception justify the noisy room being a free upgrade even when it wasn’t Patronising and dismissive. It was simple feedback about the room not the cost, that reception didn’t have time to deal with.

I was there for work! Morning Tea and lunch was provided, I was very impressed we were seen after extremely well. Thank you Apollo you did a fantastic job we all appreciated it.

Friendly staff, great location and lovely spacious family room. Restaurant onsite. Plenty of parking.

My Husband and I stay here quite alot. We find it very comfortable very clean and the food very nice and a great price. Reception staff always friendly and inviting. Looking forward in seeing you in staying again in a fortnights time.

Rooms need an update however, its still quite reasonably comfy. Smell in room coming from bathroom which wasnt so pleasant possible plumbing issue?
Breakfast was below average on one day (eggs overcooked) but on point the following day.
Reception staff was phenomenal 10/10 for their professionalism and service.
