Berrima Market Place Park reviews
41Good stop to let the beans out of the kids on a roadtrip, and next to a Cafe abd public toilets.
Great park for kids, lots of space to sit and enjoy the sun. Take a picnic rug, grab a coffee and baked goods from Gumnuts and live it up.
Excellent park. Had a school group here as a stop for lunch. Lots of activities and space.
Old structured building area. Feels like you are in the 19th centuries. Every building and every place surrounding is ancient. Awesome for a little break with the family on the way to and form Sydney- Canberra.
Went for a drive in the new car to Berrima. Would highly recommend the Berrima Market Place Park with great play equipment for the kids. Well worth the Drive and the perfect stop over on your way south.
Great place to stop and visit. All the shop owners are very friendly making a great day. We'll definitely be coming back.
Loved this little town. The stalls in the market are different from other markets. Very friendly. Always buy something when I am there.
This is a fabulous park, I'm so glad our family stopped here instead of a road side stop. Worth the detour, great Play equipment, picturesque park and taste food and coffee options nearby if you have not brought your own picnic. Will be back! (Update: we returned for a fabulous birthday BBQ picnic with all our family members, kids had so much fun running around the park together. A dream come true)
One of the best in the area. The local council needs to put some shade areas up over the playground though.
It's a good play area with some modern equipment his for kids under 10 (including flying fox, moderate speed no slope) there are some wood chips around the older equipment, there is a beautiful fir tree where you can stay out of the sun. Toilet and picnic facilities are clean. The only issue is the lack of shade for the play equipment in the summer months (not an issue autumn and winter). It's also a short walk from the pub and cafes at the southern end of town.
Brilliant park its not fenced so you need to be mindful where the kids are. But brilliant amenities.
The southern highlands has surprisingly few play parks for kids, so finding this one was a score! It’s a great little park - lots of things for the kids to do, plus plenty of cafes and small shops to explore on foot.
Our kid had a great time here. The trees in the park are also huge and old and it gives the park a lovely feel
Only stayed in Berrima for lunch. The place had a nice feel about it but unfortunately didnt stay long enough
I was there with my 18 month old grandson and my daughter. My grandson liked the park even though he was too little for some other apparatus. There was equipment that he could play on.small inground trampoline and with supervision a slippery dip and some climbing equipment
Great place to take the kids. Toilets and drinking water. Large grass area to kick the ball around too! Just needs a few more picnic tables to eat at.
Fab little park to keep the sprog occupied while the grown ups can nom nom on some of the decent food surrounding the place.
One of the better parks in the Highlands but unfortunately that's not saying much. It has 2 trampolines, a castle cubby house and some basic swings for small kids. The flying fox is fun but was under repair when we visited. My boys are 6 and 9 and starting to want a bit more from a playground. Has a large grassed area and tables for a picnic and toilets. Has a new Cafe called Shmokin across the road which is prob the best thing about the park now
