I had the DPF Light flashing in my 2016 MQ Mitsubishi Triton and came across these guys at Berrima Diesel as I’d like to say that they were very friendly through out the whole process as I could tell from the start that they are passionate at what they do as well as that they did an excellent job in fixing the problem as for my triton as that they told me that the DPF level was at 80% and now thanks to them it’s now running like new again and with the DPF light no longer flashing.
So if you have the DPF warning light come on in your diesel vehicle then give them a go as they are definitely the people to speak to. Thanks once again to you all at Berrima Diesel keep up the amazing work as I’d definitely be visiting them again sometime down the track.

You bag everyone in the industry and claim you are the best your dp chips are better than any remap bag guys who remap claiming they are not tuning but now that your chips don’t work you started remapping vehicles and don’t even tune them you are a slave to someone else so you don’t even tune as you have no idea how to tune would you like me to make posts on you tube for you or I guess you better remove your post before I expose you

Thanks andrew for your reply unfortunately incompetence on picking on another business is what you specialise in take a look at all your you tube videos before you comment again all you do is bag everyone else in the industry trying to do there job may be you should focus on your business and dont worry about everyone else obviously you have plenty of free time but we don’t as we can’t keep up with our work working 16 hour days wake up mate

Great service. I was booked in for a fuel line vibration and tune on my Troopy. The guys found a gasket leak on the inlet manifold and as I was heading to Qld for 3 months, they made time to replace the gasket and also complete the other works.
Definitely a marked improvement in performance towing my 3.2 t van.

Got a DP Chip off the guys and it was as easy as to install with the plug and play throttle con.troller just as easy. The 2020 Raptor has a more responsive pedal and more get up and go.

I had a turbo installed on my 105 series Landcruiser. I am in Sydney and had my vehicle trucked down. Everything went seamlessly and was kept informed by Baden through the process and on completion. So good to drive now and job is so neat and tidy. Highly recommend, thanks heaps.

The family took the time to explain what needed to be done. This is hard to find good old fashion service, with state of the art expertise. I simply wouldn’t trust my diesel with anyone else. Thanks Trent and family for taking the time.

Drove my old TD42T gu patrol down to berrima diesel 5 and half hour return trip just to have them dyno tune it and I am very happy well worth it they are all so nice and happy to answer any questions and happy to give you tips and advice definitely recommend berrima diesel best in class I won’t be going anywhere else berrima diesel is my go to now on

I bought a Prado that had 280k on it with all the paperwork saying it had never missed a service.
Booked into Berrima Diesel because the car was very noisy on cold startup. (think throwing cutlery in your dryer)
Needed to have the injectors replaced which I suspected but I never dreamed the previous work would have been so substandard. When they opened her up to start the work they found parts not fitted correctly, wires not attached, electrical parts held together by tape, the list goes on!
All photographed and proven.
Started cold this morning and it's perfect!
Everyone I know with a diesel, even as far away as Queensland, recommended Berrima Diesel and it was worth the 2 hour drive to get the work done properly.
It's one thing to be happy with the work but another to be impressed by the service and attitude. Couldn't be happier with not only the result but also the experience.
Our Prado will be coming here from now on.

The team at Berrima Diesel are one of the most genuine individuals I've ever had the pleasure to meet. They have transformed my Dmax runs better, smoother, faster and more efficiently. The team lead by Andrew and assisted by his son Baden who owns a Dmax has shared advice and knowledge.
The DP Chip has made the car more responsive and great fun to drive.

Stuffed up my 79 series landcruiser 2018 model. Clutch went after 2 weeks and my dpf melted on way back from a hunting trip had to tow it back 5 hours away. Will not recommend to any one as they also tuned a friend of mines 79 series aswell and he blew his turbo 6 weeks later. We only went there as he said he’ll do us a safe tune. And when called and spoke to him he blamed it on faulty parts from toyota and that dpfs and turbos might have been faulty from toyota. Ended up taking them to another mechanic that had to fix his mistakes and when we mentioned his name to local mechanic he wasn’t surprised as he had others bring there cars to him to fix and repair berrima diesel stuff ups

I have used Berrima Diesel many times and never had any of my 4WDrives operate better after their service. I can't recommend them high enough. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. What they don't know about a Diesel engine is not worth knowing.

Reading through all these reviews I can safely say, I would not bring a $2000 car to you, let alone a 70k car.

The guys at Berrima Diesel fitted a turbo and serviced the injectors/pump on my old 2.8D 4Runner and it was definitely one of the better experiences I've had. The customer service was fantastic and they took the time to explain what they did. They say ~40% increase in torque/power, which is great, but in terms of drive-ability the change is huge, I can go up hills now.

There were some initial delays getting the turbo kit from the supplier thanks to covid delays, and while frustrating (as I am not from NSW and had to organise being in the area) I feel they were upfront with that and communication was good.

Very frustrating to try and deal with BD over the phone. They do all this social media marketing to drum up business but don't have the resources to take phone calls. I would have rung them ten times over one week and only got through twice.

In addition, they were sending out a replacement part, and I was told it would go out on 28/7/21. I called on 29/7/21 to make sure it got sent out as advised. I was told it was sent on 28/7/21 but after the cut-off time. I was provided with a tracking number by BD. At 3 pm on 29/7/21, I jumped online to track my parcel, and it stated the item was received by Australia Post in Berrima NSW at 1.45 pm on 29/7/21. I thought this was strange as I would assume the parcel would have been processed early in the morning if it was left in the express post letterbox, or if handed in at Australia Post (AP), it would state the 28/7/21 and the time. Therefore, I contacted Australia Post, and they advised the status of 'received by Australia Post at 1.45 pm 29/7/21' means it was handed to a customer service team member on that day and time. I asked AP if there was any chance it was placed in the express post letterbox and processed at 1.45 pm on 29/7/21 and was told if the parcel is dropped in the express post letterbox, it would be processed first thing the following morning. The tracking status would state 'processed at sorting facility', not received by AP. In short, I was lied to about when the parcel was sent. I attempted to call BD four times over the next 90 mins to raise this with them and was unsuccessful in getting through to them.

Abysmal customer service.

Response to owners initial comment - you might need to invest in a new system if you cannot find my name. Invoice number is MINV-15801.

I sent a social media message and got no response hasn’t even been read (see attached photo).

Effective ways for customers to contact you are not necessarily always effective for the customer. Seems they are effective for your business as it doesn’t require you to employ another staff member to answer phone calls. Survey people and I bet you the vast majority would prefer to call and speak to someone rather than email or social media messages.

Also, no response about being lied to ‍️
