Berowra Valley National Park reviews
37Beautiful, calm park with barbeque facility, very kids friendly with big green land and flying-fox
I have been walking along the tracks for many years. No need to go to the blue mountains when you already hve them on your back door.
Lovely National Park. Take the Benowie Walking Trail to walk to Berowra Ferry. Round trip of 2hrs
Nature not to far! Beware of the narrow windy road and the occasional road closures due to emergencies. Don't get lost while bushwalking.
Wildflowers are beginning to bloom. Many people enjoy walking or jogging along the easy bush tracks.
Lots of tracks to explore, not busy at all. Fresh water especially after a rainy day! Lots of birds singing around.
Highly recommend for a weekend to recharge your battery for a week
Beautiful views, amenities & restrooms in main camping areas and walks of a huge mix of difficulties and lengths.
Amazing destination for a calming outing close to nature and very good point for bbq and perfect photos
Beautiful nature and nice tracks with different difficulty levels. It is very close to the city but comparable to some blue mountain tracks.
Great open green space. Ideal for barbeque picnics. Long walking trails which I did not explore.
One of Sydney's most beautiful and scenic national parks and well worth exploring especially to see the famous Fishponds.
Loved this national park. Less famous than other ones so not too crowded. Easy to access from Sydney in less than 1 hour. Lot of nice easy walks. We went to the lookout at the end at first. You have an amazing view on Palm beach in the other side. Then we did 2 different walks
Spectacular afternoon walk. Great rock vistas. Enter the walk to Refuge Rock via Cherrybrook using Trevors Lane Trail off Patricia Place. It was closed for burn off but is reopened. It is public access but please be considerate. It runs close to private homes.
Great place for a walk not too far out of the city. Plenty of options for hikes routes to take.
Good place for a bushwalk. I did the walk from Thornleigh to Hornsby through the park and can highly recommend it.
This was a lovey walk though challenging once you get to the end of the wooden boardwalk. There’s a wonderful viewing platform at the end of the path where you can look over the creek. Past the viewing platform there’s rocks to scramble over and roots to watch out for, but it follows the path of the creek which is nice. There’s changing environments and lots of animals to listen to. There’s covered seating areas at the start of the walk but it was infested with mosquitoes when we were there. There is also toilets. Car park is massive so there’s lots of parking, and no parking fee. Good for a short and fairly accessible walk. I did this walk with a toddler and pregnant wife and they thought the walk was okay.
Great place for a picnic or a quick camping escape. The main part with the playground has electric bbq while the bit more hidden one hasn't. You've got better water access on that side but also more smelly mangroves.
Beautiful walks. Signs were a bit difficult to see, so we were off track for a little while before someone set us straight. Set off from cherrybrook
Went for a hike in this location, very tough hike, however the scenery is beautiful. Well worth the visit.
Loved it. Drive around and find yourself a quiet spot of magic. It really feels magical so close to the city, by the water and chill. Kids will love it too. Kayak looks like a better option on a nice day. The place could get busy on a sunny winter day. But I'd go anyway.also good for hiking and tracks.
