Hi. I have had my B475 for about 12 months. I have used my previous 2 Berni as for nearly 40 years and l sew a lot. Only got rid of my 830 beause it broke down and parts are no longer available. This new machine has been a pain ever since l got it. I took a lesson from the dealer? (who has been great) but after it costing near $3000 it is the worst machine in the world. The dealer told me the needle threader, which by the way is mechanical (l have 20 year old Elna with a better one), it a pain and she hardly uses it. The clear plastic table slips off its lugs every time l put fabric under the presser foot. The tension plates which were set up by the dealer keeps shredding the thread and now the needle race falls out all the time and l can't get it back in.

What l propose is that l start putting my opinions on Facebook and Instagram and see how many other people are having the same problems.

I am totally sick of this machine as it doesn't operate any better than a cheap Aldi one my friend bought for $199.

I would be intetested in your comments.

This is a lovely sewing machine company. I read the manual cover to cover for the Bernina 215 sewing machine and it gave me such joy. They are a very welcoming family and I instantly felt at home. This is my new family and I am proud to be a part of it. I felt like I really identified with the sewing machine and I felt such a connection to the gears and the way they turn. They bring me joy and comfort in my times of trial and suffering, they are always there for me. I just pick up a piece of material, place it on my machine and away I go.
