I engaged Benn & Penna for a renovation and extension of a large Victorian era residential home in Sydney's Birchgrove. The brief was approached by Andrew and Alice as a scientific and artistic undertaking, with a focus on light and space and sustainable principles. The outcome was a carefully thought through home that opened up from a heritage facade to crisp and refined spaces, coupled with an abundance of architectural features and light that permeates the whole home. Highly recommend.

We approached Benn and Penna after coming across Andrew Benn's Balmain property fortunately branded with the Benn and Penna stamp. We had a fabulous experience with them from day dot. Andrew has an extremely calm and relaxed demeanour - perfect for dealing with council (!). He and his team made that awful process so easy for us, it was a major achievement. Their attention-to-detail was outstanding from the outset. We have just finished building our renovation and we are in love with it and will work with Andrew, Rachel and team again in a heartbeat.
